The poor reviews make me sad. Costa Vida used to be so good and the store at Northtown was so well managed and food consistently good. They either got rid of all the good staff or they quit. We used to eat here once a week. Now, very rarely.
Not only did I not receive my whole order but the chicken was dry and hard. The “smothered in cheese” was about a child’s fist size of shredded cheese. I think next time I want to try for a “healthier” option I will just order a pizza.
I love Costa vida but I feel like with this location there will be a 75% chance they forgot part of my order or they're out of important ingredients like nacho cheese. I've had to get into the habit of pulling over after pick up to make sure I have everything before driving away. I miss the location and staff that used to be by North town mall. We used to look forward to Costa vida, now it's like "it sounds yummy, but do we want to drive 30 minutes and risk wasting our time?"
This place was great. First off the staff were very busy but were still polite and efficient. We had a couple of big burritos. The food was fresh and had way less salt than Chipotle or Qdoba. Wish they had rice without cilantro but that is not a big deal. Looking forward to trying it again. Pura Vida.
Horchata Was the absolute worst I’ve ever had, I asked for 2 meats on my burrito only got one, it doesn’t taste good, the rice is hard, and didn’t give me a bag with my food just handed it to me, how do you not make rice correctly, very disappointing could have spent half as much At McDonald’s and enjoyed my food. I would go just go somewhere else if you’re thinking of eating here
Sweet pork burrito was excellent. I tried the Chile Verde and it was ok, the meat was a little dry and tough. I like it at Atilanos much better in their wet burrito.
The food is fantastic it's the customer service that needs a little improvement. Everytime I go I ask to have the pico out in my burrito and they say yes but don't do it. I ask for the beans on the side and the don't listen. It gets annoying to have to just deal with it. But the food is always good.
Long wait times. Didn't have the food properly warmed on multiple occasions. They gave me frozen lettuce on one order that made the rest of the meal cold.I usually enjoy their food but the service and quality at this location are severely lacking.
I love costa vida and am disappointed that I have to write this review... but when I went in yesterday everything started fine the food was great. But the gal who was serving us was a little rude. And the worst part she didn't once change her gloves. She handles customers card and cash from the register with the same gloves she used to make our burritos. Which is a huge no no with the health department. I work with food and change gloves between products sometimes even to avoid cross contamination. The servers name tag read "Zero". Hopefully you can retrain how to properly serve food to the public.
the worst food i have ever tasted pay 40 dlls to receive raw meat
