Pretty much done with this place. Three times in a row the experience has been terrible. Horrible service the previous two visits and had to wait excessive time for food in an almost empty restaurant. This last visit was told there was a 15 minute wait for a table in a half empty restaurant. We said OK and took a seat to wait, just to have the next group that came in, without any reservation, get a table cleaned and seated without a wait. At that point, an individual I'm pretty sure was the owner, came over and, when I shared my frustration, copped am attitude, blamed being short staffed, and pretty much blew me off. While I get staffing issues have been a thing, COVID restrictions are over and I haven't had any issues getting quality service in any other restaurant in Spokane! So, unless you are going there to cop a squat at the bar and drink while you watch TV, I'd avoid this place!
We wanted to try the cauliflower crust pizza because the reviews said it was the best in town but we were not impressed at all. We got the Florentine - size small (you can only order small if you get the cauliflower crust) and it wasn't good. It was burnt! And the artichoke wasn't chewable. The sundried tomatoes were hard to chew. We didn't even eat a slice each. I also ordered a large "regular" crust pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon and some other yummy toppings and it was really, really good. I spent over $50 for two pizzas though. Not impressed. Threw the small burnt one in the garbage. It's too bad. Still on the search for a decent low cal crust.
Our server has decided to change the tip amount that was written on the receipt! It seems to be a problem here looking at other reviews. I have my copy of the receipt. Nobody answers the phone and the voicemail is full. I will never recommend this business!
Delicious food with good variety. We started off with chips and Queso and that was delightful. The chips were warm and the cheese was so smooth and tasty. My boyfriend got their burger with onion rings on it and fries on the side and he loved it. He said perfect burger even better fries. I got the Sicilian pizza and oh my goodness it was amazing. The sauce tastes great and doesn’t cause heartburn, they are generous with quality toppings, and the crust was perfect with whatever the seasoning is that they top it with. We plan to go back again to try other dishes and to see the friendly staff. Keep up the good work!
I would have given zero stars if possible. We decided to try out a new place on Super bowl Sunday at around 7pm pacific time. The place was completely dead. When we walked into the bar area it seemed like the waitress was aggravated that we were even there at all. The food was horrible but to be fare it was cheaper than I expected. I hope that I am wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if there was spit in my food from the attitude that I got. We ended up leaving without eating most of our food. When I gave the waitress my card for payment, she was interacting with another individual and I am not sure what they were doing. We will be watching our account closely in the upcoming days.
This is a great dinner place with lots of space and wide variety of Italian and American food. It is not fancy but is a nice casual place. I loved the salads and multiple vegetarian options. Great pizza too!
It pains me to change the 5 star rating to a 1 star, unfortunately after 2 years of covid, the proprietors have decided not to adhere to state mask mandates (at least remove the mask required sticker from the front door). My family and I have never had a bad experience here, including today. The food was excellent and our server was wonderful. ( we expressed our gratitude with a 25% tip)We will never punish the employees of an establishment that fails the overall goal. Unfortunately every worker we saw was unmasked. We have an immune compromised child (that begged to go here) and unfortunately he felt it prudent to replace his mask between bites (him being fully vaccinated as well). I just wanted to warn parents of other IC kids, this might not be a safe place for your little one.
The food was decent. The service was quick and attentive considering the place was almost empty.Nothing special.
The server was sick, coughing without a mask. Food was good. Desert was burnt, ordered a apple crisp. Server had one made for us to take home that was looking better. She didn't believe me when I sais it was burnt. Photos don't lie. Overall, once is good for me.
I tried the pizza burger with truffle parmesan fries. The burger was ok, the hamburger itself could've used some seasoning but it was fine. The fries were delicious!
