Boots made our wedding cake & cupcakes! We sampled gluten free cupcakes (both vegan and non-vegan) from bakeries in three counties, trying to find the best. We found it! Boots has mastered the gluten free vegan cake and theirs is nearly indistinguishable from “conventional” cakes and is truly delicious.We picked boots based on the quality of the sample, but we were also incredibly happy with their level of service. They were quick to reply to our correspondence, customized the decoration to meet our (peacock) theme, and even worked with us to pack the whole order safely in (our supplied) coolers for a 2 hour drive to our venue.We love how the cake & cupcakes looked, how they tasted, and we love the great service we got.Thank you, boots!*definitely not a paid review
If this place can teach you anything, it's that vegan food is for everybody! The heavy emphasis on the pumpkin waffles is warranted: The waffles are soft and topped with a heavenly sweet vegan cream. I couldn't tell the difference between their house made cream and real butter. My partner and I split their oatmeal cookie, as well as a plate from their deli case. I highly recommend the peanut noodles and curried tofu scramble. All of the items were good, but the real standout was the oatmeal cookie. It's textures hit the metaphorical spot.
Best chocolate chip peanut cookie that I've ever tasted. Perfect blend of sweet, salty, crispy outside, chewy middle. Amazing! And the place is really nice inside, comfortable and great staff.
I've been here many times, they always have delicious food. Pictured here is a sausage hash with parsnips and leeks and a southwest polenta special. They have a decently wide selection of flavors at their espresso bar as well including florals like lavender and rose.
I've been a vegan for about 6 years now and boots has been my go-to since day one. they do some great savory stuff but what id really recommend would be the boozy brownie and any of the coffee cake/fruit bars they offer. This place is a must if you're a vegan in Spokane, come and show them some love! <3
Boots is amazing! The atmosphere is fun and it's the perfect kind of space to study or read a book. I spent many Sundays studying here and enjoyed the excellent coffee, delicious food. It's a huge plus that the owners do a lot for the community as well. They are very community minded, and you can tell that they are if you follow them on Facebook which I do. They put measures in place to protect their staff and anyone that comes in. I DO appreciate that and they will always have me as a customer because of that. Spokane is lucky to have Boots!
Boots is great. Amazing, quality food and atmosphere. And the added benefit of the employees being safe and providing a safe environment for their customers during this pandemic is so awesome. I love going to boots because I feel safe there. And as someone that cares about the people around me, it's wonderful to be able to spend money at a buisness that does the same. It's also great to not have to be around a bunch of careless idiots! The people here complaining about the vaccine "passport" can go get their pastries from Walmart.
Everything is delicious and the staff are always kind. I drive 40 minutes just for that pumpkin waffle! The no bake cookies and pb&j bars are my favorite.
Allison and her staff are the best!! They made the most perfect Smash cake and cupcakes for my daughters 1st birthday!! They were PERFECT! ❤️
I absolutely adore Boots Bakery & Lounge! Their breakfast is amazing and the vibes are lovely. Their servers are so kind and friendly and make everyone feel at home. Love this place ❤️
