If you haven’t stopped in, you owe it to yourself. A great European grocery to find all the staples and treats — mostly your favorite German imports! And a mouth watering deli that will leave you more than satisfied! #delicious

Best German Deli in Spokane. Love the Bratwurst and bacon. Everyone was super helpful, especially during the holidays.

Today I came for Weihnachts treats and my usual breads, cheeses and meats. Top notch.

I was a child when I 1st started coming here. Back in my day, they played German music and had a wide selection of German meats. Not even greeted nicely, or offered a mask, 15 minutes of country and western and a wide selection of salami later... I was charged 50 bucks and walked out with a small selection sausage links and a candy bar.I recommend you skip this. They are no longer the fun German store it used to be.

The owner and employees are rude. Condescending when interacting with the customers, lecturing customers.

My husband found this place on the map one day and we decided to try it. It was love at first bite. I can honestly say that I have never had ANYTHING that was not delicious. We go as often as we can and we now feel like family. Not only is the facility owned and operated by an incredibly sweet German family, but many of their clientele come for a taste of home or German potato salad like mom used to make. I highly recommend this lovely and delicious little spot to everyone.

Best sandwich ever very fresh! Lots of awesome import candies desert items available. Real Creme brulee mix available! Great deli with knowledgeable and friendliest neighborhood feel with welcoming employees! Definitely going back!

As I rate all things in context, Alpine Delicatessen is easily a 5-star locale. If you visit with "big city" expectations, you may be disappointed by it's size. But the fact is that the store is very well appointed carrying a good selection of the foodstuffs you'd expect at a German store. The help are always pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive and the prices are what you expect from a store selling nearly exclusively imported food products. The prepared foods - from the scones (that change daily) to the sandwiches and wurstsalat - are all perfectly authentic. Very worth the drive if you you have a hankering for either German food or simply something not so ho-hum American. To anybody that would down-rate *any* business for enforcing a *state-mandated* mask policy - get a life. There are and were UNMISSABLE signs when you walked in. If you were going to get wound up about having to wear a mask - you had a simple option. Leave. Entering anyway then complaining that the policy on the sign would (gasp) be enforced is silly. I can only assume that you're either obstinate or illiterate.Regarding the non-taking of food stamps - are you serious? Not to sound mean but what are you doing at a boutique-type place if you're using foodstamps? If we're all being honest, your food stamp dollars will go far further at a Winco than at a European delicatessen....

I love this place! I love their selection! I love the owners! Did I mention I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

If you’re looking for real German groceries and meats this is the place. We searched the Internet for a specific item and would have had to pay a fortune for shipping. This place has a huge variety of items really from Germany and the price is reasonable considering the alternatives. It is like Aladdin’s cave!!
