Well I have had breakfast here before, was good, but haven’t tried dinner until today. I had the fish and chips today and I must say that they were better than the two places on Sprague in the valley that I swore were the best fish and chips around. Ponderosa has them beat hands down. The fish was not overcooked and the batter was well seasoned. This will now be my go to place for fish and chips. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!
Showed up with a full front lobby. We were seated in less than 10 min. My kids were starving and the waitress knew immediately to take the kids order for food right away. Drinks were awesome and prices were extremely fair. Service was awesome…food was top notch and that include food off the kids menu (as a parent it was very good and that doesn’t happen very often). New manager is going above and beyond to ensure everything is in order. New management doing a great job! Keep it up! We will be back!
First time eating here. We were not disappointed. Good place for breakfast.
Service and food are outstanding. Highly recommended and was able to accommodate our party of 8 with ease.
We have been coming to Ponderosa pretty much since they opened in summer of 2020 and although we have never had a bad experience, today was absolutely the best. We noticed a lot of new things and menu changes that made it even better than it was but the best things like their amazing Bloody Mary, are still the same. Definitely will be going more frequently now!!
Party of 5 for breakfast today. First time to this establishment. Seated very quickly and welcomed by a friendly and very attentive server. Excellent food all around and the Bloody Mary and Mimosa flights were amazing!! You get an entire bottle of champagne per flight! The owner even stopped by our table to visit and give us a “sneak peek” of his new menu in the works, which looks fantastic btw. Great environment all the way around. We will definitely be back!!
Thought I’d give this place another shot. Unfortunately…..Music was cranked way too loudly for 10am. Way too loud on top of a restaurant that already echoes from talking. Couldn’t hear each other in there at all. 2 of our 3 plates were incorrect, missing items. And both the hash browns and bacon were dry and over cooked. And I definitely wouldn’t spend the extra money on stuffed hash browns. Small hash brown serving and practically nothing stuffed inside them. Positives included….Jam and toast were good. Booths are nice and large. Server and busser were both nice. But……Definite room for improvement still. Disappointing because I really want to like this place. Local and convenient.
AMAZING place! Friendly staff, huge portions, food came out fast and hot, great prices and atmosphere!!! Definitely recommend this place!! ????
Had a variety of food here. Some appetizers, drinks and meals. Our waitress Judith was super friendly and consistent. Always checking in every table. Loved that. Only down side was the cheese for the pretzel was off but our waitress took care of us. The bartender made us a winter type of hot cocktail that was delicious and cute looking. We will be back.
