I liked the waitress a ton!! Which makes the experience better for sure! The teriyaki skewers were fire!! I was not crazy about the meal to be honest. We had the lunch combos f&g.. not anything to complain about just wasn’t my favorite!

We've tried other Thai restaurants and keep coming back to Thai Bamboo. They are hands down the best, both in quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. If you like Thai food and even if you don't, you really should try Thai Bamboo.

Walked in on a cold winter night. Front door doesn't shut on it's own so there was quite a draft. Waited 10 minutes and the server never asked if we wanted water. They only had 2 tables besides us. Prices are ridiculously high and atmosphere made me hesitant to even eat there. Left and went somewhere else. Will not be back

The cashew chicken was ok, and I was disappointed with the Pad Thai. The sauce is not like any other peanut sauce I've had at any other Thai restaurant, tasted strange and chemical-ish.

Very disappointed. Called to order and told 30 minutes. Fine. Show up 30 minutes later and pay, then told it would be another 15 minutes. Ended up being another 20 minutes. No explanation. Only takes 20 minutes to prepare to begin with. Then the food was bland and gummy. Scallops and shrimp dish was very minimal, maybe 1 shrimp. I suspect new owners or management because I got food from the South Hill location a year ago and it was quite good. Certainly will not return!

Thai Bamboo restaurant. This place was really pretty! What caught my eye was the ceiling, the lights change colors to blue, purple, pink and green and it also sparkles! The food was really good too. I ordered the oranges chicken with a side of white sticky rice & my boyfriend ordered the garlic noodles. They were both so yummy and with so much flavor!I would definitely go back again and try something new. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I'm changing my 5 star review that I made 3 years ago to a 1 star review.I'm not sure what happened to this place; but the food is just not worth the price. We ordered some takeout (Pad Thai w/ Tofu, Swimming Rama w/ Chicken & Curry Rice w/ Chicken) and it was all just watered down and bland. I don't think I have ever had such flavorless thai food. The bland/watered down food along with the 30% price increase in these items just make it a hard pass for returning. I can understand raising prices; especially with labor and food item shortages, but to both cut the quality to this level and raise the prices so much, just seems like a slap in the face to your customers.

Multiple locations, the north town one and cda are the nicest as far as decor, all have the same tasry food. Easy to see why its a local favorite for thai food.

I liked that this place had a lot of vegetarian options, as well as the ability to make lots of the standard dishes without meat. The service was great, as well. The food itself was OK, though the proportions were a little off. Rice dishes had a huge amount of rice, but were kind of sparse on the protein and veggies.

We love Thai Bamboo! Excellent food and their customer service is outstanding. It makes my day when I call in an order, they state my name and read off my previous order.
