Comfort food abounds. I was finally able to stop in. The place is small and not really in a location right off the highway where you'd expect a restaurant to be. It has a small parking lot out front and to the side. This may have been an old service station at one time as the bathroom is located outside around the back. There's outdoor and small indoor seating. Inside is comfortable but dark as they could use some more lighting overall or just table lamps. Perhaps putting in some windows in the back wall would get some light in and make the space seem more open. Better yet...how about a garage door style that could open onto a covered patio area in Summer? Food for thought. LOLThey have a pretty large selection on the menu as you can see in the pix. I'd like to return to try breakfast sometime. I'm not sure if it's just me and that I haven't been going out as much to notice the food price increase but it did seem a bit high for what it is. Although, my bacon cheeseburger was very tasty and the waitress even asked how I'd like my burger cooked. The bacon was crisp and not chewy. The fries are shoestring cut fries and would have been a whole lot better if they weren't over salted so perhaps ask for no salt and add your own.Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying not to go! How many other restaurants (other than big chains) that serve breakfast all day and are open after 2pm?! In fact...they are open 7 fays a week from 6:30 am to 9 pm! Try it for yourself and leave a review of your takeaway.
Man I've never had a sandwich melt in my mouth in such a way that all the flavors have a strong but equal taste. Even with a 10 minute grubhub wait I still got one of the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever tasted. I can't recommend this place enough.
Wow! I had the brown sugar bacon bbq cheeseburger. The burger was a 5 star burger. It was delicious! My husband had the Little hangry. Don’t be fooled by its name, it was not little! LOL. You might be asking, “Well, why would you give them 4 stars?” Here is my reasoning: The establishment was not clean. One might consider it a ‘Hole in the Wall’ type place which I am fine with. However the prices of the burgers did not fit the establishment. 14.50 before tax. If I’m going to a ‘hole in the wall’ I also want to pay ‘hole in the wall’ prices. The place had a constant flow of customers, and maybe they are saving to tear it down and rebuild. Idk. Next, the fries that came with the burger were limp/soggy-ish. The fries were definitely nothing to write home about. And lastly, one of my children ordered the “little chicken strips.” They were more like large chicken nuggets. Other than those three things 5 stars. Oh and the man working there was very nice.

Let me just start by saying the food was actually pretty decent, I would probably rate this place a 4 or 5 if it were not for the following.... The building is a tiny, dirty falling apart mess. There is a hole in the ceiling, there is a huge, ugly heating unit precariously hanging over our table. The booth seats are missing springs or something in the middle so you fall into a hole when sitting. The food is not cheap and is always crowded, the owner should be putting money back into the business. My other complaint is the hostess made me wait about 30 minutes for a table that was open and available for about 15 minutes, when a new group came in she gave the table to the new group instead of me. I had to stand up and tell them I had been waiting for 30 minutes already for a table.
Great breakfast, but inside sitting is very limited. Outside sitting is available.
I looked on Spokane food finder for the best chicken fried streak. Many people said Hangry’s. I got there and pre judged. It’s tiny and not the best looking place I’ve been…..but…It was the best breakfast I’ve had in about 15 years!!!! It’s a must! I’ll be back for sure or ordering Uber because it’s so far from my house. I can’t even describe how good it was. Just go!
It was like coming home after too long away. I got scolded and hugged and fed. They also have a nice little picnic table area in case you brought your dog. We did, they loved him, too. Don't miss it.
