Spokane Valley is infested by chain restaurants. Finding a local independent to support takes a bit of effort, but my research turned up Dos Amigos. I found lovely staff with fast service. They offer a choice of mild or hot salsa with your torillas when you arrive - the spicy option was great. The Arroz con Pollo was milder than some, but it was flavourful, and the portion size was huge. They also do a great lime margarita.
Absolutely amazing! I loved it. Reminded me of my mother and Nana's cooking. The food was so good and their spicy salsa was incredibly delicious. I got the grande burrito, my brother carne asada burritos, and my sister-in-law nachos. On top of it all, they have Horchata. Being far from home, this was a very pleasant experience.
The service was superb which is why i give a rating of 4. If rating food, it would be probably a 2 due to lack of flavor. And you still get chips and salsa. However, Food is just ok in taste. Had a taco salad, good amt of meat but could have been warm and not served cold and the ground beef had no flavor of Mexican. Not even cumin. Had a strawberry margarita on the rocks- very disappointing. Could hardly taste any tequila and the syrup used to make it strawberry was terrible. And for 2 people with modest meals and a drink each was $48 before tip. And then to be disappointed does not make me want to go back anytime soon. There was a time this neighborhood restaurant was a favorite and we traded there often.
Went today with my husband and 4 kids. The waitress was very attentive to us. The food was delicious. I cant wait to return to try new things on the menu.
Very decent Mexican food. The service here is where they really shine. Whenever I get carry out they are always quick. Also when we dined it we had a lot of fun with our kids here and the dessert and margaritas were very good.
I come here quite often for lunch as it's close to home. The food is good and very reasonable. Chips and 2 salsas, mild and spicy, arrive as you sit down. Yesterday I got the combo taco, burrito and enchilada all with shredded beef (and plenty of it), knowing I'd be taking the burrito home. Chicken is your other option. Never disappointed here.
For being in Spokane this is the Best Authentic restaurant. I ordered the Ranchero plate & I was 100% satisfied! Awesome customer service
Amazing, authentic Mexican food! Service is outstanding ??
Great place for authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos were very tasty; the rice and refried beans were as good as home cooked. Our server was very friendly and made us feel like we were at home.
This is our go to restaurant for Mexican food when we are dining in. During Covid, we have tried takeout. Takeout is also delicious. Prices have gone up, but I still rate it five star. The food is still great, but it is not as inexpensive as it once was. I don’t know too many restaurants where a waitress would run out as we are driving away to make sure that we got our sides of guacamole & sour cream, but the waitresses here really care.
