The food is great and I understand being short staffed but we were in 2 days this week and our poor server was new with very little help. We had cocktails and ordered when we got there, we ended up having to take it to go after an hour. It just seemed very unorganized.
The employees here were very nice, but the so-called manager on the other hand was rude to his staff right in front of the guests. He clearly doesn't know how to run a business and has no clue on how to treat his patrons and employees. I felt sorry for his staff having to work in those conditions. If I had to guess, I would say his daddy or someone besides himself bought this place and gave him an opportunity to run it, but he clearly isn't up to the task. I'll never go back and I wouldn't suggest anybody put their money into the hands of this guy, he doesn't deserve it and there are too many great places with good management and staff to invest your time and money. I'd give no stars if it was possible
My husband and I love this place. The burgers are amazing! We love coming here for date nights and with our kids. Especially, in the summer time when live music is playing. The staff is always accommodating, which has made all our experiences there pleasurable even with our three young children.**Fun Fact - Their highest level wing sauce - Fire in the sky - induced our second child's birth. Not recommended, but I ate it before consulting with my midwife. ;)
Food and wait staff were great however the manager could use some lessons in professionalism and customer service. One would think it's common sense to discuss payment issues with the table rather than announcing across the room where other patrons and vendors are within earshot. After checking the other reviews, I can see the only complaints are about the manager, I'd say it's a pretty obvious trend on the one stars. At the end of the day my wife and I paid our bill as we had planned (they ran the same gift card multiple times, not too sure why they couldn't successfully run it for the amount at once, but that was the only issue). This manager claims in his response to my wife's review we were attempting to get a free meal? That was obviously not true as we certainly ate frugally within our means, but yet this manager still wants to belittle my wife in his response claiming we're trying to scam a small business...Then you want to complain that I called you out stating I won't be back in the same manor you hollered across the room "I can't believe that you don't have another payment method between the two of you". I paid my bill buddy and tipped my waiter, you should get over yourself and take heed from all the comments complaining only about you. A lot of businesses will respond to reviews with at least some customer service, but not this guy.I would suggest this bar & grill to others for the food, but would like the owner to know I will not be back only due to the unprofessionalism of this manager alone.Update: This is not a relative of your patron but the actual patron, my wife and I both visited your establishment and we both have our own account and experiences to review and share. You can flag my review if you want, but you know it's all true. Just MTFU dude and accept that you need to get some training...
We were treated horribly by the owner of this establishment. It's a shame because the waiter was great and the burger was good. Hopefully the waiter will find somewhere ran by someone with integrity, this creep is a stain. When the manager heard our card was declined and we didn't have a second method of payment, he felt the need to make my husband and I feel like trash and announced from his register, behind the bar to us, at our table, "You don't have another form of payment between you?!" All because their card machine didn't run our gift card correctly. Literally said we were "weird" for not having a second form of payment on us. Our bill was PAID IN FULL BTW, using the gift card. And we split a hamburger between us, we clearly knew how much we had and weren't ordering more than we could pay for and DEFINITELY weren't trying to scam a small business.
When I came into this place, I was talking with my pregnant wife on the phone about what she wanted from this restaurant, as she can be a little picky with certain things it takes a minute to fully grasp the order, well the bartender/cashier didn't take too kindly to that, I proceeded to tell him my order while confirming with my wife that everything was correct and of course there were changes that needed to be made. The gull and attitude of this fellow was far beyond rude and unwelcoming, as I was signing to pay for the order, he told me that I was young so I didn't understand but that coming into a restaurant while on the phone trying to give an order is incredibly rude and I shouldn't do it, I will never come back to this place and anyone I know will be told to stay away. Garbage service and the food was mediocre at best
The food was good and all came out fresh, (it took a long time but, staffing) the server/bartender/hostess with the cute pink hair was very helpful answering questions despite being very busy. Almost every table was completely full and she was the only one working front of house.Revised per response from owners, my apologies, things aren't always how they seem. I completely understand staffing issues being no one wants to work.
I love Boomers. The food & energy of the place are great. They're currently short-staffed so the wait for food can be a little long, but the staff who are there do a great job despite the challenges (especially the tall, nice-looking guy with the dark hair).Definitely worth a visit.
