I was there with my wife ordered a Bloody Mary it is my favorite cocktail it was ok I have had the same drink at different locations it was kind of sweet and not really spicy, the night we were there I was watching an employee trying to make the bloody Mary mix there was no consistency with the making she was not measuring anything or following recipe and after all she got done she tasted it and it said it tasted sweet we came in on Saturday I tried a new IPA that was hemp infused I liked that beer I would drink a glass again
The food here surprised me. I was expecting typical greasy bar food, but stumbled upon some well-cooked American staples. From soft pretzels, fresh burgers, and presentable desserts, Black Diamond's team really stepped to the plate during restraunt week.Food was well seasoned, created with care, and presented with flaire. The staff were on a mission and I love the dedication to swift service.I definitely recommend you stop through for some food, and maybe try your hand at a game of Black Jack too.
Jenn and her staff are the absolute best. Always welcoming. Truly the best. Great gaming with super friendly dealers. I always feel like they genuinely want me to win! The food is awesome too. My wife planned a birthday party for me there and it was perfect. Can't speak well enough of this business.
Good dealers better luck than other places no joke.
Great dealers and atmosphere!! The Black Pearl is great! It’s a quaint and clean casino where the dealers want you to win, and are excited when you do! They have table games that no other casino offers in spokane, and the poker room almost always has a game going. You will not receive the uptight attitude that is found at larger establishments. The dealers are always smiling, and have a lot of experience dealing cards. They can keep a fast pace and very rarely make mistakes (like forgetting to pay you on a bet). I love the laid back atmosphere and when I walk in it’s always “hey REV, nice to see you today”. My favorite part is them willing to accommodate a player’s request. If they have a game closed down that you want to play, they are more than happy to open it up if they have the staff (which they almost always do). Pit Boss Jennifer did that for me today. They were busy but it still worked. I was getting ready to walk from my current game, and then I started winning consistent hands. Jennifer told me to take my time and to let her know when I wanted to make the switch. Keep in mind this is a casino, and it involves gambling. You don’t get to win every time you walk through the door. Be nice to the dealers because they have no control over who wins or looses. They want you to win because they can get tips. Take care of your dealers …they work really hard and if you win, they should win. Another great job today Black Pearl and I will see you next time!!
Great and fun place here. Dealers are very friendly, Casino Manager is amazing, and the servers are on spot. They have a good selection of tasty food with a weekly specials menu. They have several table games, and are accommodating to open up whatever table game players are in the mood to play.Like most hospitality and entertainment businesses its the people that make or break the experience. Kudos to the leadership for having a great team that made it a fun time, and thanks for the birthday wheel spin and gift, that was awesome! I will be back.:) :) :)
I didn't eat there as it is way over priced and the smell in the air put me off. I did play cards however and the dealers are rude and apparently religious as they will chastise grown ups for swearing. If one were to look around, there are much better places to play cards. Also, they have signs up that say masks required, but go in and you'll soon see that they are not required. Signs are up for show only.
Fun environment but the tournament structure is super hyper turbo. More like bingo. You will blind out waiting for a hand. Not a spot for actual players. It's a spot for gamblers and people who only have a couple hours to play. They normally only have limit cash games as well.
Nice black Jack tablesFantastic foodRelaxing environment on a Tuesday afternoon lunch date.Never been on the weekends. I would guess it's much busier .
This is not a place most would consider as a destination for a meal, given it's poker-table focus, but they did a real nice job with hearty bar fare. Heck, they did better than that. Understand this is a place for regular folks to grab a decent plate of unhealthy, un-mindful sustenance while putting their wages in the harms way of sharks. Regardless, the staff was great, and we enjoyed and chatted with a VERY diverse group of patrons that were appreciating their time there. TVs were filled with all the days' sports, but none of that was loudly obtrusive to our dining experience. We do like to try places we've never been to--that steer clear of over-pretentious, uber-nouveau offerings--and this place was a spot on choice for that...
