Huge portions for a decent price. I had a double cheeseburger and my wife had a bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms. There was so much food we took the fries home to eat later. Will definitely be back.

Jake's ALWAYS has the best food but try to grab a bite an hour and fifteen minutes before they close and the waitresses will do everything to send ya packing. I was in the biz 12 years and I understand wantingto go home but I was never rude to our customers!! I'd kindly greet them, make them aware we'd be closing in about an hour or so, that way, they could make the best decision for them to stay or go. If the food wasn't always consistently fantabulous I would never go back. It took everything in me to not say something that day.

I really thought this would be a good breakfast spot based on the reviews. We ordered the Jacks Scramble. It was beyond horrible. There was no flavor at all. And it wasn’t even a scramble. They brought the dish out and it was literally one big lump of food. It was a dome. It didn’t look appetizing and didn’t taste good at all. We also ordered some orange juice that tasted no like orange juice and when we asked about it was told it was “vintage” orange juice. Our waitress was nice and took the OJ off the bill, but she didn’t check in on us at all after giving us our food. So disappointing.

Great local hometown cafe. Quick friendly service and huge portions. Simple home cooking. I was pleased with my eggs Benedict. The lady at the next table ordered a complicated special request for herself (allergies likely) and they didn't bat an eye just made her a great plate, she seemed very pleased.

Walking inside this fine establishment it takes you back to 1950s. As soon as we sat down a waitress pours us up some fresh coffee. We order the Jake’s cafe scramblers with sausage egg & cheese.Takes about 10 minutes from kitchen to our table. The first glance at our plates there is enough food to feed 3-4 people per plate. The quality of food was 5/5 stars.Presentation was 4/5 looked like a giant pile of cheese and hash browns underneath. The portion size was extremely generous for 1 person. I would of got something more simple since I ate 1/4 of the breakfast pile.We left with 2 leftover boxes. We were kindly told to have a wonderful day by the ladies.I loved the warm small town inviting feel this establishment has to offer their community.I feel like I was a local just dining in made me feel like I was home. I would give this place 5/5 for atmosphere and the vibes are truly comfortable. I would recommend stopping by this location if your passing through especially in the morning!

Love the decor. Huge portions of comfort food. Not gourmet but still perfect for a big meal. Long wait but worth it if you're not in a hurry. Second visit was fun! My amazing smily waitress chose my meal for me and it was perfect. Never had a Montecristo not battered and fried. It was delicious and not overfilling. Mountain of fries were a little soggy but hey, still good. Coffee ☕ flowed like rain and followed me in a to go cup. Now that's service. Hubby had eggs and chili, an interesting and filling combo worth trying. Monday is a nice time to avoid the crowds. Popular place.

Great service from Shelley and the team. Great food and very friendly and welcoming. We had he deluxe cheese burger and prime rib dinner. It was great . Will make this our stop when we pass by on our travels.oh and awesome pumpkin pie....

Great place to have a good hearty breakfast. Great professional people and the service they provided was great. Place was super clean. Highly recommend.

The wife love coming here for breakfast. The service was phenomenal as usual. Large portions for a good price. You won't leave disappointed or hungry.

1st time in. Wait staff was super friendly, you can see the pancakes are huge and easy to split at this size. My waitress said their steak is really good. The space was clean and very welcoming and with a heated tent for outdoor dining.
