We visit about every 3 months and are from out of town. This has been a definite stop every time we've come to this area. Same great place great atmosphere great staff... the servings are about 50% of what they used to be though. My fish and chips was more of an appetizer than it was a meal. My wife's shrimp Louie salad was exactly that shrimpy; I am full of spinach salad a handful of shrimp graced with a half an egg in one cherry tomato. The quality of the food is excellent as always, but if you're looking for a hearty meal it's definitely not what it used to be. Another victim of the pandemic and the economy!

While biking the Centennial Trail, my wife and I stopped here for some lunch. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We opted to sit at the "puppy bar" which was a hightop table for 2-3 just outside the main entrance so we could watch our bikes. Food was a bit expensive but good. We both got the 3 piece halibut fish and chips with beer-batter breading. Very large pieces with tasty spices. The place was full for a Friday afternoon. The staff was super friendly. I'd definitely stop here again for lunch if in town.

Certainly one of the very best places to go for flavorful battered fish, calamari, shrimp ect. They had an amazing clam chowder in a beautiful bread bowl that had the perfect crunch to it and was plated fairly well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have some nice fresh well cooked flavorful seafood. The one thing they could really use some work on and also the only reason they didn't get five stars is they seem to fall flat when it comes to their fries, they appear to be fresh cut fries but it doesn't appear they know how to cook them as they were very bland.

It was a great experience eating cod and haddock. Had a great waitress. I was confused by the billing. It had an extra charge for the cooking crew? Something like 2.50. Why? That’s the restaurants responsibility. They also wanted to make sure you didn’t shortchange the wait staff because of this.

Inconsistent cooking. We ordered the Captain's platter, which is a major splurge these days, but for the past few times the platter order is half burned / half not, and it has so much oil we need to wring it out before we can eat it.Huge disappointment considering the platter is $60This place used to be really good but not a fan of inconsistent cooking that is super expensive.

My mother visited from out of state and wanted fresh seafood. Food was marginal at best, 1) waitress DID NOT come back to ask if everything was ok, if we needed anything, etc. 2) when we got the bill there’s an automatic gratuity for the kitchen staff. NOWHERE IS THIS POSTED NOR WERE WE INFORMED OF THIS BEFORE ORDERING OR BEFORE RECEIVING THE BILL, 3) why should we have to pay an automatic surcharge when server does not come back to see if everything was ok when it wasn’t, so we were not happy with our meal so kitchen/cook staff got paid for crappy food. My mother stated she’d never, ever be back and my living here, I won’t ever return either.

Oh man this was by far one of the best I’ve ate in a while. I had the crab melt with New England clam chowder and hubby had the fish sandwich with clam chowder. It was so tasty. And definitely fair pricing.

Not as great as we hoped. We came for dinner and it was busy but we found a table outside immediately although service was much slower. The outdoor seating area is pretty cool, and surprisingly warm so we liked it out there. We ordered the catfish and chips, onion rings and received a complimentary cup of clam chowder for checking in with Yelp. Huge plus and our favorite item of the night. The hearty potatoes and creamy taste really surprised us and it was perfect for a cold night. As for the catfish, perhaps it was just us be we had expected catfish strips and chips, but it's a fried fish entree with some spinach and fries for $17. It was really good though, the crispiness of the batter was there and the inside was nice and flaky. The fries were also good, I would sprinkle some extra salt and pepper since there's light/no seasoning.Unfortunately the onion rings were a let down. No seasoning and bland batter but they were cooked nicely with a yellow crunchy exterior so that saved them. All in all an OK experience.

My husband, family and I love the fresh steamer clams, oyster shooters, clam chowder, and fish tacos! Pretty much every thing we've tried is fresh and tasty. Great service in a casual fun family atmosphere.Yum!!!

The prawn wrapper was amazingly tasty! I got a side of the pineapple habanero sauce to spice things up. I would get two extra tortillas if you order this entree, one just isn't enough for the job. While it was excellent, I want to note that it was quite messy to eat (not that I minded). Our server Katie H did an excellent job with keeping up on our table and accommodating to our needs, as well as having great insight on beers and food. Thanks Katie!
