The service is TERRIBLE! The food is good. It’s disappointing because management seems to be good but I received attitude from our server, she was disrespectful! I’ve tried giving this restaurant multiple chances and just keep being disappointed
The food we had were good. Nacho chips were refilled and almost got us full before our food were served (not a complaint there). The margaritas were yummy, and the flight was just right shared with the hubby. Our waitress was okay, though we had to ask for my water a coupla times before she brought it. Otherwise, we were pretty satisfied all in all.
Love the Gig Harbor Moctezuma's, great food, great service. The Silverdale store (this one), however, continues to disappoint ?. Third visit, same result. Service staff don't seem to want to be here, had to ask multiple times for basics like napkins and water. Restaurant was only half full, so not busy, but couldn't help feel our presence was an imposition. Food was fine, Birria Tacos were good but not stellar. Not going back here.
We had a great experience here. There was a great variety on the menu with a good mix of familiar and new options, including some interesting twists on familiar Mexican foods. Service was exceptional and we even received our food probably in 15-20 minutes on a Friday night. The food was perfect in temperature, texture, and taste. And it was just a solid atmosphere. We were seated at a table in the bar area and it didn't feel overcrowded or too loud at all. Only critique is that the prices felt a little high for portions, but that's recognizing that right now, prices just feel high for everything. Highly recommend.
Not the experience I encountered in the past. Guacamole dip used to be made by table side, but came out already made. The floors were sticky and was an over all disappointing for the price. The food was nothing spectacular and feel its lost its stellar spark.
Had a nice dinner a few days prior to the traditional date 5/5. The service was exemplary and the food was excellent. Their prices are a bit higher than the food trucks but everything was made fresh. Their menu is a bit larger than most. We are enjoying making our way through the selections. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. One of our favorite stops now.
My fiancé and I come here frequently, like honestly probably once a week. And I feel like that's this review in a nutshell. It's so good that we come here pretty much every weekend, and I'm not exaggerating (ask my wallet, it can vouch).First of all, what we all wanna know, is the margaritas are to die for! We are partial to the Cadillac (I do on the rocks, he does blended, as seen in pic 2). But I do have a soft spot for their new Butterfly margarita (pic 1). It's so pretty and so unique, I've truly never had anything like it.Second of all, the food is amazing. Plenty of gluten free options, lots of things that could easily be made vegetarian, and everything on the menu tastes fantastic. My personal favorite at the moment is the Camarones al Tequila. It's delicious and never leaves me feeling bloated or stodgy, which is the unfortunate reality for a lot of American Mexican restaurant chains. There are a ton of options on their menu that will leave you feeling full but without that unfortunate blob-ish feeling.Third of all, the staff is always fantastic. In all of our times coming here, we've never once had a bad experience with any of the staff, and the shift managers are very active on the floor and will come socialize and make sure you're doing okay.In summary....we are regulars because we love this place. :)
Wait staff is top notch! Party of Five, went for Tacos and drinks. The food was average for the cost. Drink selection was above average. The wait staff saved the day! Noticing details with the food that required return or additional items. Able to communicate why certain things are taking longer. I was totally impressed with the staff. However I will be looking for a different place in the Silverdale area for tacos. 4 stars based on the waitress and her endless positive attitude and concern for our experience.
I just wanted to let you know... We absolutely love this place and make it a regular stop, but today was ridiculous. We waited 30 min to even be acknowledged once we were sat by our server. He was incredibly rude and standoffish. He never brought us plates, napkins,water, or silverware. We tried to wave down anyone to help us get another round of drinks but after 20 min we gave up. Debbie our server is always working hard, putting a smile on people's faces,plus goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The shrimp and chorizo tacos are the best hands down yet all the taco choices are delicious. Highly recommend.
