This has become my favorite restaurant in the area if you haven't been I'd highly suggest it. The owner clearly has great passion for his work. The steaks are excellent I've made it my mission to try them all. Cooked perfectly every time I've had one, you should never have an overcooked steak here. The Iberico pork Secreto is a hidden gem. I've had this fish many times in Spain (the Iberian peninsula for which the dishes named) and it's prepared perfectly. You cannot find this anywhere else. You cannot even buy the correct cut in the US to make it yourself. The desert was excellent all around exactly what you'd expect.
It's nice restaurant with great service. I ordered the Beast burger, which was good but extremely messy, and honestly, the fancy mix of meat in the patty wasn't much different tasting than a regular beef patty. My wife ordered the vegetarian pizza, it was also good but does not have any sauce on it. The bites that include a bit of roasted garlic were good but most of the pizza lacked any real flavor. Would be better if the roasted garlic was spread out on the crust to make up for the lack of sauce.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Brought my husband here for his birthday on 5/21 5:30-7pm ish. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. It was a gorgeous day so we wanted the patio, the host went to verify if we could sit outside and during that time, we were asked if we were being helped by other employees which to me is great customer service and a great team effort on Maynard's part. Our server was Regi who was so polite, charismatic and efficient. Our drinks were so freaking delicious that you could tell the bartender took their time in making sure it was done right. My husband got the tomahawk steak and I got the surf and turf. Our meal of to die for. *chefs kiss*Maynard's!! Your employees are amazing! We will becoming back for sure!
This place is super friendly and the wait staff have strong knowledge of the menu, my wife and I have came here 3 time and always try something new.The flavors of the Antipasto platter was amazing. (pardon the half eaten platter)
First off I had not only heard but also read about all the positive reviews about Maynards. Well the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered an advertised special, corned beef sliders and fries for $16.99. The whole meal was cold. I only ate a bite of a slider and a fry. It was dry cold and really undesirable. The menu all together was minimal and vanilla. But Noelle our kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous server deserves 5 STARS! Good for you and your positive attitude and work ethic. Thank you for being so polite, gracious, and patient. Yes, I did let Noelle know about the quality of the food, she offered to make it right. I decided on a refund.
One of my Favorites around Kitsap!! Their food is delicious, their drinks are yummy, and the staff is great! It’s great for the whole family, my kids loved the s’more kits they got during summer, that the roasted over the gas fired outside, and the mock tails are a favorite:)
Great décor, atmosphere and service. I had the beast burger with wagyu, elk, bison and gorgonzola while my guest had their gourmet grilled cheese with tomato soup. I'm not a burger person, but I had to try this burger. I was not disappointed 4/5. My guest loved her grilled cheese. They did many pizza options which perhaps may have been the better choice. This was a pit stop restaurant we stumbled upon. Nice spot to have a casual lunch.
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here, and have every time we've gone. We had an early Valentines Day dinner Sunday night, and JJ The owner was going from table to table greeting guests and providing an experience you'd only get from what I'd describe as an "Old fashioned family owned Italian" joint. The foods always incredible and the atmosphere is very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Every waiter/waitress we've had has been very knowledgeable and super friendly. In the picture is the Owner taking time out of his night to take pictures of a small party outside after dinner. Thought this was worth sharing as it was incredibly thoughtful.
My first time in Maynard's was a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food came quickly, but not so fast that you thought it was premade. I ordered a mocha breve which was excellent. My Beast Burger was pretty good though a more tart aoli and toasting the brioche bun would have helped a lot. The plating was on point though.I'll be sure to come back pretty soon.EDIT: I bought a Margherita Pizza to go when I was leaving. Included in it's normal toppings for some reason was quite a bit of roasted garlic and a lot of balsamic vinegar glaze... It was just *bad*. Tasted of barbecue.I will come back at some point, but I'll be cautious of what I order.
The food was so good. The service was great. We brought our almost 2 year old in and the staff were so friendly and playful with her. Made it such a fun experience. The ambience was cozy as well, loved the decorated tree and the fireplace they had for dining.
