Fancy food at a decent price. Staff is always friendly and professional.Love the variety of meal choices and can't wait to try the steak next time.Call ahead for pick up orders!

Best takoyaki and calamari I’ve ever had!

Probably the best sushi in Kitsap County in my opinion. Really good sushi for a fair price.

ZERO STARS!Ordered 4 meals at 1:40, they brought out 2 of the meals and we started eating 5 minutes later the sever comes out and says sorry the kitchen is closed the other 2 meals aren't coming out. What?? What kind of service is that? They told another table next to us the same thing. Then they proceeded to charge us full price for the 2 meals we got. So 2 out of the 4 people got to eat and the other 2 did not. Will never be going back. That is one of the worst customer service experiences we've had.

It was so delicious. Very busy place, but the wait wasn't long. The service was great. Looking forward to going again soon.

All around great sushi and donburi experience. The uni is fresh and delicious and one of the many reasons I go back, the staff is also super friendly and quick, but attentive. I am always happily satisfied when I come in! Birthdays are a blast, they sing and give a free desert. Definitely worth the visit.

The sushi was delicious I’ll give them that so that’s the two stars. But service, at least my waitress, was terrible. Also the mark up on Chicken teriyaki was ridiculous….. I mean $18 bucks for a regular portion that you can get for $9 any where else…… the chicken teriyaki should never be more expensive than an fancy roll ($14+ on average) at a sushi place.

Amazing sushi, generous portions. Best age dashi tofu we have had in the States. Friendly prompt service. Looking forward to our next visit.

If you are new in this area and scouring the available sushi places, take this as a sign: avoid trappers and go to jo:a for authentic sushi chefs and recipes. The reason being is quality over quantity. Jo:a is more pricey (depending on the time of day, happy hour and whatnot), but you will acquire more quality and satisfaction from the food and service at jo:a. They employ many ohana from the islands, and create a safe environment for visitors or relocated families, so you find a small corner of home away from home. Their environment is so relaxing and peaceful. Their menu is also accommodating; such that, you may add or take away to customize a roll depending on any allergies or preferences. Every roll is delicious, you will not be disappointed by the food. The dessert menu, although small, contains all the popular oriental dishes, such as mochi ice cream. Try their spicy tuna nacho appetizer: sometimes my family and I order multiple of those because it is so gosh darn delicious.

I visited Jo:a tonight and loved every second of it. We had Kassandra as our server! She was so kind, attentive and just as sweet as can be. She made sure we understood the menu and answered every question we had. We will absolutely be coming back for the food and to see her again!!!
