Carne asada, shrimp and mushrooms is the best Mexican meal i have had outside of Mexico. Margaritas are top notch too enough said
We had a wonderful dinner. I started with a spicy mango margarita and it was absolutely delicious. Then I had the Santa Fe salad which had wonderful flavors and plenty of food, while my wife had a burrito Santa Fe. She had more than she could eat and took some home. The waiters were pleasant and attentive and the seating in the dining room was well-spaced. We greatly enjoyed the visit.
Amazing, authentic Mexican food. The decor inside the establishment is also really nice and sets a great vibe. The customer service was excellent as well. We got our food so quickly, and the server was willing to accommodate my dairy allergy.
"Hello Friend" (in Spanish of course ) will greet you at the door and why not, you'll forget you're in Richmond Highlands. Roll in for a Tecate or mojito but stay for the rice n beans, be transported to somewhere down the Baja feeling the desert on your shoulders and the Pacific ocean on your face. It's like surfing and wafting mesquite smoke simultaneously. Once inhaled... forever felt.

PEANUT ALLERGY WARNINGI’ve ordered food here several times and generally have not had problem. Their queso is my favorite! Unfortunately last night they were negligent with my peanut allergy concerns. Before ordering my food I asked several times if there were peanuts or sesame in the food. I was reassured there were no peanuts. After eating my lips started swelling and I started itching so I asked again. I was told no there was no peanuts so I thought maybe I was having a reaction to something else. Finally someone someone went back and asked the chef. It turns out there is peanuts in the enchiladas sauce and they put a little bit in the creama chicken. There are no peanut warnings on the menu. Luckily I did not have as severe reaction but if you have a peanut allergy be aware. They did not charge me for my food and they offered to call an ambulance which I appreciate but still very negligent.
Food hot and attractive when arrived. Generous portions. Waitress competent, checking to be sure we were happy. Moving into area, just 5 minutes away and this restaurant will bo on our go to list.
This place is delightful with their super friendly and cheerful service. They are so sweet and accommodating here! We ordered the Spicy Mango Margarita, Mar Y Tierra and Guacamole appetizer. The drink was spot on! Perfectly spicy and sweet, refreshing, tangy and not watered down. The guacamole is so fresh and the chips are piping hot. Yum! I really enjoyed the spicy buttered sauteed mushrooms and shrimp in the main dish. I didn't try the carne asada (steak) but the guest said it was very good and juicy.
First Visit, Was Excellent in Every way! Even the cool dude Robert the Server was so professional and personable and super cool guy. Foos was amazing, salsa perfect, cheese soooo good, nachos perfect, yummy beer, super good Guacamole, my son loved his taco and beans and we had a great time here. Saw them sing happy birthday to someone, everyone is nice here, cant believe I never saw this place before, its amazing!!!
A wonderful little neighborhood spot w a complete menu of expected and solid Mexican fare. Attentive staff and great atmosphere.
