This place was perfect for breakfast, it’s super trendy inside and the staff is really friendly. Great food!! We will definitely be back A++

The waitress was fantastic, but the food was mediocre at best. I ordered an eggs benedict and the yoke was hard, I sent it back to get an egg that was poached properly (runny yoke, hard white) and when it came back, the entire egg was runny. Also, the hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon. Bottom line, DON'T ORDER THE EGGS BENEDICT!

I really enjoyed the band, blue velvet groove, that was playing. Disco classics and a lot of fun. The vocalists and the brass section especially were great! Aurora Borealis seems to have a number of groups booked over the summer, I will be back.

Food was good but our waiter was having to be sole waiter and sole bartender and there appeared to be one cook. So it took 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and order of sliders. The one waiter and one cook actually showed up to work. And apparently others didn't. So don't view it as the waiter and cook's fault. Management and owner need to do something to increase the speed (better pay for workers maybe? hiring more help?) And food was good. So don't want to write this place off (yet). Hence the 3 stars. But OWNER and MANAGER seriously get these employees some help or this place will fail and fast.

The food was horribly disappointing.Service was virtually non-existent. We had to send back half our food as a result of being utterly destroyed piles of slop or inedible rubber. Other guests were visibly over-served alcohol, their bribes as an apology for messed up food orders and cancelled events. Worst yet, they made us miss the end of the game they knew we were only there to watch, rushing us out the door right at close.I originally wasn't going to ever go here, because it looks like more of an event space than a restaurant. But then I saw the inside dining area which looks nice enough. I should've trusted my gut rather than punishing it.Bonus points for the owner/mgr showing up just briefly enough to take money out of the till, hop on his motorcycle and leave.

Super fun atmosphere. It was very nice and relaxing. We came in for brunch and the cocktails were really yummy. They had a wide variety and I would definitely want to come back one evening for the entertainment and to try the food. It seems like it would be a really fun time!

Stacy Jones band was great and the Blues Society brought a nice crowd of people. Good sound system, skilled bartenders , I'm glad they made it this far through COVID but they are still going to need all the support. Kitchen couldn't handle the the crowd that all showed up for the bands at the same time, I saw people waiting over an hour, also saw some way overcooked coconut prawns. They are going to need extra help on band nights. They really need something that comes out sizzling and smelling delicious. The place is good, I will give them more chances with food for sure.

Super friendly staff and fast " timely " service. You get great food , hot and served in order, just at the right time.Soup had a lot of flavor for chicken noodle and was hot. Had a chicken club sandwich right after that and it tasted fresh, excellent ingredients, kinda large though for me.I left taking half home because I was so full. I will certainly be back again. Best kept secret, great food, awesome service and no crowds. Nice warm fireplace , good music at lunchtime, what more could you ask for. Oh yeah, I one a quick $60 on pull tabs. Thank you. . .

My family and I have been eating at the Aurora Borealis since it opened. We love supporting local businesses. We brought our parents, kids, and even co-workers to your restaurant. During the height of the pandemic last year, we ordered take out and 3 out of the 4 meals were not as ordered. I called the restaurant, and they stated that when we were ready to order again they would compensate us for the 3 meals. They took my name and number down. On January 30th, I wanted to treat my family to breakfast, so called last week and talked to Robin who talked to Lyndsey. Lyndsey called me back later that afternoon, she said that she would compensate us for our meals that were done incorrectly. I called the restaurant today (2/06), and spoke with Maddie and Robin and they couldn't find the note Lyndsey had left, so they would reach out to her. When I didn't hear back, I called a second time because lunch time was slipping away, and they said Lyndsey would need to call me. I asked them if they could just talk to Lyndsey, but they hung up on me instead. I called back and it went to voice messaging. So, I went to speak with the manager. It was apparent from the start of the conversation, when she stated that only she had the authority to offer compensation for meals and not Lyndsey. I told her my story, and she says where's your receipt, did you bring the food back...any person could come in here and claim this. She indirectly called me a liar and then she told me she didn't like me harassing her staff on the phone. She was not deescalating the situation she was inflaming it. Her voice was raised and her body language and demeanor was very aggressive. She was like a bully trying to assert her dominance. I told her I would be writing a review or talking to someone, and that's when she told me to get out of her restaurant. She would do well with sensitivity training and anger management classes. It was one of the most terrible interactions with a restaurant staff member I have ever encountered. Lyndsey did call me to apologize, and offered me a gift card. I told her that this experience with her manager has left me disheartened in supporting her business. I also told her it is a great loss that goes far beyond one disgruntled person. I grew up and own a business in the Shoreline area, but after this interaction, my family, friends and co-workers will not be supporting this local business.

Went for dinner upstairs and then to see a band downstairs. Had breakfast for dinner plus amazing artichoke dip appetizer. Service was good and friendly. Would definitely go back again....especially for that dip.
