First of all, know that they are still checking vaccine cards which is no problem for me.As for the decoration and ambiance, it is great! It has the feel of a speakeasy or cool jazz club. And they have jazz playing to help with that.I enjoyed the drinks very much. I had a Sassy Monk and my boyfriend had a Monet. Both tasted great to me.Next for food we had hush puppies. They were very tasty but maybe a little over-salted.For the main dishes I had the Smoky Beet tartar, which wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. I think the smokiness killed the beet flavor but it grew on me the more I ate it. And my boyfriend had the duck tostada. This was very tasty and well seasoned.Finally I tried the bread pudding. I love bread pudding, but I wouldn't order this again. It has a mild flavor and the sauce that was with it was pretty bland as well.Overall I enjoyed the feel of it there and liked that the menu offered some unique options and I would definitely go again.And the waitress was very lovely!
Every time ? this place is tops. If you're able to, sit at the bar and have the pleasure of getting to know these incredible bar tenders. They can and will make you the drink of your dreams. Laid back yet sophisticated and known to have the best burger in all of Seattle. If a burger is too much feel free to settle on their deviled eggs.
My wife and I were wandering around downtown on a random Thursday night and came across this place. The cocktails were excellent, the whiskey menu was great, and the food we had was delicious. The hush puppies are absolutely something you should order. We will be going back sooner than later.
This is such an elegant hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the market and waterfront. A bit pricier than some places, but excellent drink menu and entrees are of high quality. Worth climbing the stairs and spending an hour or two. The happy hour menu shaves a buck or two off the regular menu, so don’t expect a deeper discount. Excellent knowledgeable service. Attentive.
Awesome drinks. The food was good too. I had the pork rinds, arancini and the bone barrow. The expresso martini was also really good. All super delicious! Def recommend this place if you are looking for a variety of drinks to try.

From out of town, we came across this cozy little place. During the first night we were there, we really liked the vibe and the drinks. The service here is top-notch. We had a lot of fun sitting at the bar and drinking drinks while we watched them being made. Lol. Very interesting. The food is great. This is where we came to every night we were in town. We had a good time all three nights. A lot of people like Ben, the owner. He is very down-to-earth and friendly. After work, on a date, or with friends, this is a great place. A lot of people will be happy with it. The jalapeno cornbread is a must, too.
When I visited Seattle in the past, the Zig Zag Cafe was one of my first stops. I moved to Seattle 22 months ago, and the Zig Zag was shuttered during the pandemic. Finally last night, New Year’s Eve 2021, I returned to this Seattle icon. The Zig Zag Cafe was as great as ever. Ricardo was my bar keep, and he kept me happy with drink and good conversation. Everybody was friendly and welcoming. This may be the best drinking spot in Seattle, perfect for both tourists and locals. I hope to become a regular. Rock on Zig Zag.
Everything my friends and I ordered was delicious! There is an extensive drinks menu and if what you’re craving is not in the drink menu ask and they may be able to make it. I asked for a caipirinha (not in the menu) it was delicious and loaded! I dont think you can go wrong with anything. If you’re not from Seattle it’s tricky to find it but you CAN find it ☺️
A great experience all around. Dropped in for a late night cocktail and found an extensive cocktail and spirits menu. Ben provided great direction and the drinks were excellent. Loved the place so much that we went back the next night for happy hour and dinner. Food and presentation was very good. This place is not to be missed.
