There are only two things you need to know to have the most delicious meal here1. Jalapeño mac and cheese2. BrisketI know the mac and cheese is the best rated in Seattle, but it's literally the best I've ever had. I was lucky enough to try it months ago at their food truck and was immediately hooked. I came to the restaurant to try their meat as well and my god the BRISKET. It's amazingly tender, cuts like butter, and melts in your mouth. For an OP move, put the brisket on top of the mac and cheese and top with a good helping of their hot BBQ sauce. You won't regret it.Ok street parking in this area, you might need a little luck to find a spot but it's doable. They also have dog friendly outdoor seating.
Amazing bbq. Meat is tender and juicy. It’s a great pet friendly patio with a cover. Staffs clean tables well after use. Highly recommended!
The absolute best bbq on the planet
Food is great but they sure rush you out once they sell out of food.
(Food Truck Review) Enjoyed a half-rack of ribs and brisket sandwich - both excellent - from the Wood Shop food truck when it was stopped at Stoup Brewery in Ballard. Ribs were incredible and food came quickly. 1 point off for cole slaw that we both thought was a little bland.
Came up from Portland to try based on having smelled their spice mix. Happy to say it's pretty freaking good. The brisket is tender, the pickled onions are tart, the Mac and cheese is dangerously saucy and melty. Drink list has a nice mix as well, I need to try their smoky lemonade next time.Edit: chatted up the cook on the way out and he let us try some ribs. Amazing, and falling right off the bone. So happy I finally got to drop in!
First time customer today. Great service, friendly staff, outstanding food. Great patio atmosphere and seating. Highly recommend this place.
Juicy brisket served with white bread, pickled cucumber and onions with homemade BBQ sauces. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Nice ambience and set up.
Great for this part of the country but not compared to what I've had in Texas. Unfortunately they don't do combo plates and everything is sold by 1/2 lbs.
Lucky me that I'm not living in this Neighborhood because I think i would be there 4 times a week. It is fantastic... the Meat and the Mac and Cheese... if you are around you should try it. Staff is very friendly (love that cap of the bar waitress) ;)
