We've been coming to Wedgewood for years. Great staff, a selection of good beers, and good food. I have to remember to bring a growler to buy dark beer to go along with our fish & chips and philly!
A true hidden gem!!!! My wife and I came here recently looking to play some pool. The owner personally opened up the back room and provided excellent service the entire time we were there. The beers were great, classic pub food hit the spot.The pool table is in excellent shape. We just found our new favorite bar!

Best neighborhood ale house ever!
One of the few left, of a dying breed of “Old School Seattle” Cafe/Ale Houses/Bars, that hasn’t had to close it’s doors. So for a taste and vision of what Seattle used to be like back in the roaring 90’s, or even back to the 40’s when the Wedgewood Tavern first opened on this spot, go to this hidden gem in the just as inviting Wedgewood neighborhood. The beer selection is quality (15+ taps), not quantity, and all of the servers are very versed in the craft ales they offer, and will always help you make an informed choice. They also have local wines, and a fully stocked bar, with several choices of top shelf brands, and all the cocktails are “Hand poured.” The kitchen is amazing, serving up the best fish-n-chips in town, World famous chicken wings, burgers, salads, daily specials, and perhaps the best deal on steamed clams in town. You have several choices of where to be served, the main bar, a family dining room, and also an outdoor patio in the front. There is a pool table, and Golden Tee golf game, also dart boards in the back party room. The staff has been there for some time, and are very ready to make your day. The new owner has lived in Seattle their entire life, and is dedicated to bringing you, and your friends or family an experience you will want to come back for again and again. So go check out the Wedgewood Ale House, get a taste of “Old School Seattle,” and feel right at home, no matter where your home may be.
