Lots of interesting dishes—the one I liked best was the fruity pebbles French toast. Unimpressed with the coffee but enjoyed the chai
Our friends suggested going to Watson’s Counter for brunch while we were visiting from Texas, and let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING! This was one of our favorite experiences while visiting the PNW! The Frooty Pebble French Toast tastes like a childhood memory and the Orangey-Mocha Latte was the best cup of coffee we tried while visiting Seattle! Definitely going to be one of our staple recommendations to anyone who visits Seattle!
Came with a friend and we really enjoyed it! We split the Eggs Benny with pork belly and fruity pebbles french toast. The Benny was great, and will absolutely order again. I would not get the fruity pebble again, I would switch to the frosted flakes. Do you make a reservation, you'll need it, and it is timed. I will definitely come back and try a couple other things, and update the review.
Horrid service. To begin with, they brought out one of the entrees a full 30min after the first one, even while our neighboring table got the exact same dish before us - despite ordering later. I was willing to let that slide (despite getting no explanation for the delay) but what happened next was inexcusable. Our server got us our check despite us having clearly told her twice that we wanted to get dessert. She did not even bother to check. And to top it off one of the other servers came and told us that there was “someone with a reservation waiting for our table”. This was 80min into our reservation, nearly half of which had been spent waiting for our order to arrive.Food is decent, and coffee is great, but the service left a LOT to be desired.
Love love love this place. Great coffee and if you get a chance to try their food, I recommend the fried chicken sandwich! Even just the french fries are amazing. During the week you can order to go food but on the weekends you have to reserve a sit down time through their website (super easy). I like this spot because the employees always seem really happy and to really like working there. And their food is great… and their coffee is great ?
Happy that we finally got to try this place. They were one of the first places in town to make sure dining in was a safe experience for all. I ordered the pork belly eggs Benedict and my partner ordered the fried chicken and waffles. It was a little $$ for us, but you can tell the ingredients are quality and overall it seemed worth it. Service was very friendly!
We really enjoyed this place! Got lucky and snagged a table Saturday morning as walk-ins. The French toast was amazing with Frosted Flakes and really tied together well with the syrup and whipped cream. Definitely coming back for this ?. We were a little disappointed by the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken is bone in and made from the wings(?) so eating it very messy and nearly impossible to share. Good luck trying to get a bite of both chicken and waffle ?. The gochuchang flavor was great though. We also really liked the coffee and overall atmosphere. The included gratuity was interesting and we’re still mulling over how we feel about it. Anyway, we liked the place a lot!
Small diner for Brunch with a Korean twist. We were visiting family in Seattle and were treated to brunch here. Great coffees and lattes with latte art, lemonade and hot chocolate was popular with the kids. They have chicken and waffles, chicken sandwich and eggs benny all with a Korean flare. Food was amazing and good sized portions. Make sure you make reservations as they only have a handful of tables. I had the chicken sandwich gojujang flavour, my husband had the Kbbq plate and the kids had chicken and waffles. Definitely will go back again.
Good:ServiceKBBQ Pork PlateBad:ExpensiveWaffle is very dryChicken is nothing special(Do not get the chicken and waffle)
Everything here was amazing. Orangey mocha (subtle, not too sweet) gochujang fried chicken wings on a waffle (great flavor balance, just the right amount of spice), K Poutine with mushroom gravy (had some spice to it), seasonal salad (fried tofu was amazing). Didn't even make it to the cereal french toast, have to go back! Busy on weekends, make reservations.
