While we were in Seattle we ate at Vons twice. Really cool main dining room with a beautiful bar area. We ate one of our meals in their really pretty out door patio gazebo area. The service was very friendly and professional. The portions were generous. More importantly, the food was really great. Their sourdough pizza was athe best I ever had. Wish we had this restaurant in Philly.
We had a great time checking out Von's. The food looked so good I wish we had tried some, we just got drinks and it was amazing. Service was friendly and fast, we definitely will be back again.
After getting off a cruise where there was little to no bourbon, I decided to take my husband to Vons as a treat. He had the bourbon flight and then a glass of one of his favorite bourbons. He was very happy and loved looking through the book of all the bourbons they had to offer. While we were there we decided to have the whipped chevre and almond pesto sourdough pizza. That was a delicious bonus to our visit. Our waiter. David was patient, fun and entertaining. This was a great way to end our trip.
$28 a martini with no warning til the check. they like to rip off people. Many other places better nearby that do not abuse their customers
Wow!!! Even though this was in the main part of downtown, I would call it a hidden gem because of how unexpectedly amazing the food was! We made a reservation using Resy for early dinner. We had a great table right at the front near an open window. Trinkle was our waiter and he was fantastic! We started with some Happy Hour drink specials and the calamari. Our main entrees were the Nonna Marie pizza and the Bobbee’s All Day Bolognese. All of the food was delicious and served quickly. The bolognese is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. We are probably going to make a return trip before we leave this week, that’s how good it is!!! And I hope we get Trinkle again as our waiter. That guy was just the best!
Omg I love this place. Inside is so cool and everything is so delicious. We preferred chicken pasta and sea strew and I will never forget this taste
Von's is a restaurant/bar that's known for having an enormous amount of spirits (hence the name) and sourdough pasta and bread. They're located right next to Harbor Steps and the S.A.M. so pretty easy to get to, although parking is practically impossible here. Lunch and mid afternoon seating is usually easy to get since they have dozens of tables and bar seating, but you may want to make reservations for large groups or dinner time. They have a decent sized menu, and their prices aren't insanely high like most downtown establishments. Portion sizes are pretty good as well, lots of things to fill you up on the menu.Their sourdough pasta is great, along with their meatballs. Pizza is an easy go to as well as their burgers. Pretty strong pours when you order drinks too. Overall the staff is friendly and quick, so don't hesitate to ask them for a recommendation.
Wow! I ordered the Mediterranean Vegan Sourdough Pasta. The sauce was creamy despite being vegan, full of flavor, a little spicy, and tasted fresh. The pasta you could tell was homemade by the restaurant (you can even buy it!) A little pricey, but standard for upscale and fresh food in the city. Large portions as well. I will say this was the only vegan option I noticed on the menu, but there are lots of vegetarian options! The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and accommodating
Salmon pasta & pizzas were excellent.Crispy Cod was equally good!Mind boggling array of cocktails. We were served by Matt & he is a credit to his organisation! Well done!
We chose this restaurant based on reviews on trip advisor. We were a family of 8 and thought the experience dining here was good. We ordered burgers and I ordered the beer battered Alaskan Cod tacos. The food was good overall. I tried the fries and really liked them. Our waiter was amazing. He got all of our orders right and was amazingly quick at everything. I wish we could have tried more items but since we were visiting Seattle, we had nowhere to take left overs.
