Amazing spot. I got recommended this place by a Seattle Food Tour Guide and decided to go check it out. It’s a quaint little sushi place with jazz playing in the background. We sat down on a normal table, not at the bar and it was super nice. We went around 5:30 and there was a decent amount of people in the restaurant already but we didn’t have to wait to get seated. I got the sushi deluxe, which was 30$ for miso soup, salad, 7 nigiri and 6 pieces of sushi. It was so beautiful that everyone else on the table was jealous and I had trouble finishing because it was so much yummy food. My friends got the gyoza, which was delicious, and the spider roll, spicy salmon roll and the futomaki roll, all which were great. The pic is of the sushi deluxe. I highly recommend this place, super delicious.

Delicious, fresh traditonal sushi nigiri and variety of rolls. Friendly service.

I ordered chef choice’s sushi party (omakace) at this restaurant. The service was great. However, food was not amazing. First, sushi rice was overcooked. Second, fish was not fresh, and one piece had bone in it.

Amazing vibe for a date or a cozy night out. Friendly staff. Food was good. Nothing outstanding , I had the chicken teriyaki and I would recommend it. Prices tho are higher than I would except.

Really fantastic sushi in a part of town (all of Northeast Seattle) lacking in “weeknight” sushi options. Fish was tasty, great texture, rolls were inventive enough without being over the top.

Delicious sushi, excellent service and nice ambiance. Loved the jazz record that was playing, and the collection of vinyl records decor. Will come back

I love the food and the prices were decent. Between me and Tien we ordered 3 things and it was 36$ the food was amazing. We had the hot summer roll, agedashi tofu, and nabeyaki udon. The portions are worth the price. Me and Tien split all of the items and we both were full by the end of the third dish. 10/10 would suggest for sushi in the University of Washington area.

I think the first thing you notice is the very relaxing ambience of Village. Then you sit down and notice all the art. The service was very accommodating and the food was great. I came in to have a quiet chriashi with a kirin and it was perfect. Would recommend for a quiet dinner by candlelight or a chill hangout with a few friends.

Simple, amazing sushi. Will be coming back. Visiting from NY and this place exemplifies west coast sushi superiority.

If you're growing tired of Seattle consistently underwhelming with a soulless, sterile Scandinavian aesthetic masking hollow, overpriced food... Give this place a try. Warm, comforting, appropriately priced and delicious.
