Smoothies were just okay. You’ll be paying around $10 for a 16 oz. smoothie that you might not enjoy. Almost all tables littered with crumbs and it was not busy. One employee out of uniform; both employees choosing to chillax rather than do their jobs while on the clock.

Stale granola, so so toppings. If the bowl was $5 I’d give it four stars, not $15, nooooooooo.

Proportion of base to toppings of my açaí bowl was way off. Half—maybe more—was granola. Wanted something cold, fruity & creamy, but was basically given a bowl of crunchy & overly sweet granola. Not worth the price

Service leaves something to be desired. Bowl was decent. I’ve gone there a couple times for açaí bowls cause it’s so convenient but each time it feels like I’m going into the catty high school girls’ lion’s den. All except the girl who took my order.

Don't let the haters in other reviews scare you away. Staff is helpful and the bowls are very fresh. 5 stars.

They don’t listen to what you say, and when they screw up your order they don’t care. In service the “customer is always right.” Nope, not here. They don’t want people coming back.

We like this place HOWEVER the bowls are not consistent. Sometimes they are only half full which is a disappointment especially with how expensive they are.

This is an opinion not all will agree on, might I suggest that when people order 2 sets of avocado toasts to serve them all in one to-go box? I just think it’s too much space for only putting in 2 avocado toasts. This saves costs and the environment if you will. I know the idea of putting 4 avocado toasts in one to-go box would cause the avocado spread and other toppings to touch the second stack of toasts or cause slight sogginess (depends when it was made and how far apart the customer picks up their order). Regardless all the food will go inside your stomach. My two cents is save a to-go box when you can make more use out of them when you fit 4 avocado toasts, or get a smaller to-go box.I will say the avocado toast is good!

I don't say this lightly: they have the BEST avocado toast I've ever had. I also think their bowls are exceptional- I moved to PDX recently, and I haven't found a place as good as here. This is now on my regular stops when I come back up to Ballard!

This place has great bowls with generous portions. Staff was incredibly friendly.I was worried about the rating, but am now convinced that people have only been rating the shop low to keep it their secret. I recommend the uncrustable bowl! One downside - no indoor seating and no bathroom right now (due to covid 19 I guess)
