Got a Saturday night reservation at 5 pm for 2, and once we got there there were already 6 parties waiting in the front. The restaurant has no signs in the front, just a black gate/door.Once inside, good vibes all around in a tiny restaurant with about 5 2-person tables and 3 4-person tables. The music they were playing were mostly Japanese oldies from the 90s to 2000s.Got the $35 Chirashi. So colorful, filled with fresh, lush seafood. Eel, scallop, yellowtail, salmon, tuna, snapper, octopus, shrimp, mackerel, you name it. Slices were cut so thick I was full when I wasn't even halfway done.Got the Assari roll, which was sort of like a sashimi cucumber salad in a roll. The Shiso added the right amount of kick to the fresh assorted fish inside. This comes in a vinegar based dressing so no need to dip it in soy sauce.Lastly we got the piping hot Tempura Udon. Tempura came on a separate plate to not let the tempura go soggy. Weird that they had broccoli tempura but quality was top notch, light and crispy.Lastly not pictured but I got the special Geoduck Mushroom Butter Sauté. Honestly geoduck shouldn't be eaten cooked. Of course butter makes everything delicious but it was definitely a waste of geoduck.10/10 will come again to try other items though! Make a reservation!

Excellent! Top quality sushi, the best place in Seattle from top chef Shota Caccam. We enjoyed the sushi platter, it looked too nice to eat. Looking forward to the new restaurant.

We came 5 mins before our reservation but the table was not ready until 25 minutes later. Because they didn't have the table clean and prepped and they were running a bit behind. That story plays out the entire dinner night. Come and expect to wait long for food.We got the beef tongue but it was not what we are expecting. The tongue was so tough that would require at least two to three minutes to chew through. The omakase were nothing special, just average. We had better tuna Totoro at Uwajimaya (market) at $15/4pcs (maybe we were lucky).

Authentic, homely Japanese food! Special shout-out to the unagi ochazuke, which was crispy rice in a hot, hearty broth with grilled eel. It was a perfect complement to a cold, rainy day. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Chinatown!

Had omakase. It was good but not worth for money(probably due to services) . Servers looked very busy and most of order processes were delayed. Don't feel it is clean place.

Wouldn't have known existed if not for Google Maps as there's no external signage, but so glad Google recommended! Intimate space with very friendly staff and talented sushi chefs. Look forward to returning.

Excellent omakase set, very authentic experience.

Pricey for average Japanese food. Not what are the reviews crack it up to be. $150 for two people and just not that impressed. The biggest foul occurred when the waitress brought us two Fresh bowls of miso soup and one old, cold bowl. She was asked to bring a third fresh bowl, like the other ones. Instead she took the plastic miso soup bowl and threw it in the microwave for 2 or 3 minutes. It came back smelling of hot plastic and so hot it nearly melted the bowl. I can't believe she did something so ridiculous and foolish. There are better ways to spend $150 in this city. I suggest you find one of those

One of my favorite finds this year. Overall a special experience. The Una Tama Jyu is truly one of my favorite dishes on this planet. If you're an umami fan, it's a must. Same with the Saba miso-ni, smothered in a miso bath....mmm. The quality of the fish is very fresh. Nothing I've tried has disappointed. It's a small restaurant, so I highly recommend reservations. The service is very quick and friendly.

Always packed because it’s that good. This place never advertises and they don’t have a sign.
