They have good vegetarian options. The tempura hell done, really tasty!
Poor service and rude waitress. Long wait time (30 min) to take order after we sat and extremely long wait time (~1 hour) for the the food to be served, when the bar is not even full. Imagine the entire bar is served by 2 people that one of them is also the bartender. As for the food, it’s just ok. The sushi is slightly below average tbh. Both sashimi and sushi set have a small portion. I didn’t expect great sushi anyways. Not recommended at all. There are so many good sushi restaurants and bars in Seattle. Why bother coming to a place like this? I’m never gonna go to this place again.
Edited - to provide more specifics of my experience (every time) with Tsui Sushi Bar --Order online (DoorDash).-Restaurant confirms order.-Restaurant provides astronomically long quote on food prep time (always more than 1 hour).-I show up after quoted time to pick-up food (I’m usually late, so they’ve had more than the quoted time).-Restaurant worker tells me they haven’t started my order (ticket not even printed).-Get quoted an additional 30+ minutes to make my food. For context, my order is fairly simple – 1 tuna roll, 1 salmon roll, and a bowl of miso soup. Nothing complex that would require a ton of time to prep and serve; and definitely nothing that requires 1.5 hours. This has happened 3 times in the last year. Maybe I’m in the minority here, but sushi should never take that long.....
High quality sushi and friendly staff! Nice selection of sake too - try the flight for a good variety. Sushi comes out as it’s ready so you know it’s being prepped after you order for max freshness!
Sushi wasn’t terrible; however, there was nothing memorable about it. Portion size was a little small, but the restaurant itself had a nice vibe and good music. Might give it a second chance sometime.
last night my girlfriend and I were there to celebrate her birthday, food was great, prices could be cheaper for the size of rolls being small and it did take a bit more time to get our other rolls to us which I understand they were busy.during our checkout a female employee got upset at us because I gave a $15 tip and she put her face closer to the screen and ask if we meant to put 15% ($19). I said no and she got upset and she only attended us twice while other employees were attending us through the night. this is the first time I experience this in seattle in my times coming here every year.
Tsui Sushi is a Japanese restaurant that is right near Greenlake and serves great quality sushi at a reasonable price. The staff here is super friendly, sushi and food is made to order, and they have a good amount of seating inside that includes a bar area and a TV that they play movies on. Parking outside can be tough some times. Would definitely recommend spicy tuna and shrimp tempura rolls.
The rice was cold in every single roll we got. The fish was dry and not fresh. The rolls tasted just like QFC rolls. It’s ok if they charged twice even three times the amount of QFC rolls. But over 50 dollars per person was not acceptable. The worst part was after we waited for 40 min, they asked if we’d like some edamame to make up for the wait. We agreed. Then they charged us the edamame anyways ??
Sushi was fine but it took an hour to get our food. It was awkward because the server never checked on us or refilled our waters. It seemed like they had a lot of take out orders and were short staffed but the restaurant didn’t seem full. Then it took a long time to pay, we had to track down the server for the bill. I probably wouldn’t go back
Not a bad spot for some pretty good sushi service was friendly the place was clean and the decor was pretty nice
