This is a very fine restaurant. That must be why it's so often full. We had a terrific late night (11.30) dinner there after the ballet. I haven't been to New Orleans so won't comment on its "authenticity", but the food was certainly very good and worth the money. Excellent service too.

Being long time Seattlelites, this was our first time at Toulouse Petit (which is surprising). The food was excellent. My husband had the Jambalaya and I had the clam and frites. The price for the food, I guess, is comparable to any Seattle restaurant these days - in the mid $30 per item range. The sticker shock though, was in the cocktail. My husband ordered a Manhattan. Our server asked if he had a choice of bourbon. After looking through their extensive list, he asked for a Manhattan with High West Bourbon. We knew there would be an up charge for a premium spirit vs. well, but we were rather taken aback when the up charge was $25, on top of the cost of the cocktail. PSA - stick with the well spirit if you don't want to pay almost $40 for a Manhattan. It was still a good experience for a first time visit. Next time we will be better equipped on ordering.

From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were in the right place! 6 of us sat at the bar and experienced incredibly helpful service, and then absolutely delicious surprisingly flavorful food. We shared small plate after small plate and just oohed and awed over it all. The bartender was attentive and fun. Highly recommend.

The food was great. It would be nice if our waiter could pay attention more to his tables. For example, I ordered a drink and my drink didn't arrive until the same time my lunch arrived. The drink should arrive before the food. When I asked for drink refill and it took around 20 minutes to get my drink refilled.

10/10 perfect as always

This is by far my favorite restaurant. The cajun creole menu is divine! I love the ambience as well and the service is outstanding. I always look forward to visiting Toulouse Petit when I'm in Seattle. It's a 3hr drive from my home so I don't go as often as I want; plus it's over the border. I live in Vancouver, BC. But this last visit to Seattle I went for breakfast and before I left I made a reservation to return for dinner! :-)

Enjoyed the food so much I didn't even have time to take pictures. Definitely go with Saint Helen's steak and absolutely the Creole fish. ...... Our server was the bartender and while pleasant we didn't get Noticed for about 10 minutes.Everyone knows how that can be when you're really hungry. The portions are generous we were both stuffed and would highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, service was just ok. Took a while before our server came to our table (10-15mins) to take our drink order and then it too over 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. Also server brought salads with entrees instead of with other starters. By the time they were served salads were totally wilted and inedible. Server acted like it was normal to bring salads with entree instead of admitting he forgot. Fortunately they removed from bill since inedible. But he should have just looked at them and realized they should not be served. Food is very good but for the price it should. Overall we enjoyed our dinner but it could have been better with better service from the start of our meal. First hour was disappointing and when you have a 2 hour table limit you expect more.

Pretty hot in there. Not much air circulation. Probably should not have chosen such a hot meal. Otherwise a nice place. Would go back on a cooler evening.

We love the extensive menu and the service is always top notch. It is always crowded though; and the bar is always a bit rowdy…
