The most delicious and authentic mochi you could ever eat in Washington. Fresh, great texture and delicate, if you really appreciate mochi you will notice there's not many places like this. I've seen a lot of folks complaining about this place on yelp but it's because they are used eating overly sweet candies. This is not the place for that type of sweet. The owner is also very kind and lovely, it was a nice found! You can order through Uber eats Wednesday or Fridays and pick up or call and reserve a box to be picked up on Sunday. All details in her website.

Ordered through ubereats. Packaged great and everything was tasty. A little slice of Nippon in Seattle. Each piece was delicious and beautifully designed and I love each little description on the website. Ordering again soon. My sister loved them as well. Pair wonderfully with a bitter green tea. MIRO tea shop a great place also have them too, check both out.

Delicious wagashi year round with specials for various holidays. Highly recommend. Owner is very kind, communicative, and accommodating.

Every time I call no answer and I been trying to get mochi here for months and nothing

chika is wonderful and gracious! can't wait to share her desserts with my friends! 😘

I had the matcha and Wagashi combo there for $7. It was really worth it because I got to see the whole matcha performance. I also brought a box of 4pcs back home to enjoy. The box costs $15 bucks which seems a lot for the little pieces. However, they not only taste good but also look really pretty! It was my first time trying Yubeshi and it’s very delicious! I’m glad that we have an awesome wagashi place in Seattle!

This place is magical.

Tiny pieces of crafted art that you can eat! Delicate and flavorful, beautiful and delightful to the eyes. These are really special treats. Its worth having the experience if coming to this tiny shop and transporting yourself to Japan.

4 stars for the atmosphere and 2 stars for the taste. Overall, the sweets are carefully made and packages, but a bit too sweet, on the pricy side, and with a flavor too dominated by red bean paste. Seems authentic, but not my cup of tea. And note, it's only open one day per month (usually the third Sunday).

These are very traditional wagashi, hand-crafted by Tokara-san in the Kyoto style. Serving select establishments, Tokara's confections are available to the public only on the third Sunday of the month, reservation required, plus a few special occasions each year.
