Felt a little lame getting the safe bet of the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, but made since since I was alone. Easily the best I’ve ever had of this dish, mainly because the broth was incredible. The noodles had there own thing going to as well which was great. Only issue is that there were LOADS of noodles and not much broth. Definitely wanna come back and try more.

I’m from NYC and I try a lot restaurants (I mean really lot!) and I can very confidently said this is one of my top three restaurants. The taste is very authentic, price is very reasonable( I mean really reasonable compare all other restaurant Covid price hike, 20 per person after tip and you got plenty food to bring home)Portion size are great! I can’t be more mad at ?? other restaurants who Jack up the price and reduce the portion size. Added them to my black list.Honest you must try it out, authentic, reasonable, and really enjoy it? (if you like spicy ?)

Solid authentic Sichuan spot with a huge menu. Seriously, it will take several visits to try everything on the menu. A lot of dishes are HOT, extremely hot, Sichuan peppercorn-based hot that is also very numbing. I'd recommend going with someone familiar with the dishes and can help navigate the menu. The place gets crazy busy during weekend dinner hours, so prepare to wait and don't expect the most clear and organized system of seating people. Once you sit down, you order your food via your phone and they'll bring it out to you. One entree (the black pepper sizzling beef here) and two appetizers (woodear mushroom and cucumber salad and Sichuan eggplant here) with rice is plenty for two people, shared family style.

Been to this restaurant when it first opened way before the pandemic and the food and service that is offered now is not the same. The food and service is not great. Water is served to you in a carafe and customers are expected to drink water from small tea cups. If you ask for a cup, they give you a disposable plastic cup. Ordered four dishes and only one of them even remotely had any depth and flavor. All the other three dishes tasted of nothing but salt or sugar. When I asked for the remainder of my food to be wrapped up, they didn't pack one of my dishes in the bag and they only gave me half of one of my other dishes. For the price they charge, you are better off spending your money elsewhere.

Service: 3 starsTaste of the Food: 4 starsPrice: 3 starsThe food is not bad, but compare to other Chinese food restaurants around Seattle, it is missing something. The drinks are pretty, you should try the food here if the price is not the problem, maybe you will like the food here. but if you have a budget, then you should try other options.

I'd rather eat a $20 bill than spend it here. The service was awful. We placed an order for a small dry pot, but decided to switch it to a large one minute after the order was placed. We let a waiter know, but apparently we weren't very clear, because the dude ignored us and scurried off to scrub tables for the next hour. When we finally asked a different person about our order, we were told that they couldn't make our dry pot large, and only the small size was available. Really great to hear after waiting fifty years for some food. The dry pot looked and tasted like it had been sent through an oil pipeline in Szechuan. Rice was pretty good though.

TL;DR: Neither bad nor good. But expensive. There are a lot of great, authentic Sichuan restaurants in Seattle and on the Eastside that do the same dishes, but better. And for the price, we expected a lot more both in quantity and quality. Ultimately, for us, Tian Fu was edible, but overpriced.First up, the cleanliness of the restaurant was on point, as were covid protocols. I appreciated that they took the time to verify ID against photo vax cards.Decor was really nice, too. The dishware was simple but the tables were beautiful hardwood. The sound levels in the restaurant were great, too, with no real noise concerns.Service was simple, but good. We had our water pitcher refilled promptly and waitstaff came over when we made eye contact. On the downside, the food was nothing special. We tried several dishes and all lacked seasoning with salt, soy, or msg. All of our dishes also had problems with texture: completely lacking any variation. Dishes like the Sichuan pork were boring - not bad - but didn't excite us in any way. It had mild (for Chengdu) chili seasoning when we were expecting bold mala flavor. Oh, and the rice was criminally stale. That was a real low point.Overall, Tian Fu wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either and we didn't feel it was worth the price.

Food is tasty and very authentic. Probably one of the best Szechuan restaurants in the area. Expect a fair amount of MSG if you're not into it. Service can be slow at times. We stood at the front for almost 10 minutes before someone came to greet us on lunch time. Otherwise, food came out relatively fast after ordering.

Great taste, great food quantity, and reasonable price. Probably best Sichuan cuisine restaurant in Seattle.

The Sichuanese food here is really tasty, well done. However, the wait time was ridiculous, I won't deduct any stars because the waitress really worked hard to accommodate all customers. They definitely need to hire more people and they can work better on the service. But everything else seems to be amazing and great quality food here.Highly recommend the fish ? and I love the fact they clean most of the bone from it.Thank you!!
