Meh. I have been here a couple of times and service and food/drinks have deteriorated. You have to go inside to order your drinks if you are outside, but the waiter/waitress grabs them and carries them (Seattle laws; you can’t have alcohol out of designated areas) for you while you walk near them. Wait what? Wouldn’t it be easier to order through the app and they bring it to you anyways? But that is not why I’m giving them 3 stars, the rating is mostly about food. I ordered the pacific sandwich with gluten free bread and it was awful! They didn’t toast the bread and there was little to no flavor. I didn’t say anything because one knows what happens when you send food back…

We go here every 4th of July weekend. The staff are so sweet and funny. You cannot beat happy hour and bingo nights!

This place is rad! We came last year on the 4th and this year again. We've decided its a new tradition. It's a good neighborhood bar, and everytime we come here we have a great time. Bingo is amazing, and just overall this is a well priced, fun bar. I love this place, definitely consider it if you're in the area!

The Octopus Bar in Wallingford is one of our favorite bars in Seattle. The new location is much bigger and has plenty of seating available. Good bar food and great drinks! They put a lot of work into the decoration and it paid off! Very unique and fun looking place!

I enjoyed my stay until the very end where it went downhill. Drinks are fairly strong and some nice tunes get blasted. Fun spot to hang around and drink prices are post-tax. Bouncer was friendly, super welcoming guy who seemed to be enjoying life. He made the effort to engage us in discussion and simply ask how our days were so that's a positive impression. However, at the end of our visit a friend wanted to take a picture so we sat in the booth as one person stepped back to take the shot. We ended up vibing to the song playing at the time and simply closed our eyes for a brief moment to relax while one friend was still taking pictures on their phone. Bartender yelled across the room for whatever reason telling us to leave among the loud music. We were planning on leaving after pictures so it wasn't the worst, but it just left a poor impression.I understand not having patrons be over intoxicated and falling asleep or whatnot, but this was barely any time and having one friend obviously standing in front of us was telling that we were fine. Overall just felt pretty rude and I think the situation could have been handled better.Rest of the night went well, experience was fine. I mean the single employee could've had a bad day so I'd like to think it's a one-off, but it's sad to see.

Love this place! We hold our weekly Antifa meetings at this bar and they even let us store some of our para military gear for quick deployment. Will be a faithful customer for life! Down with fascists and Amerika!

Such fun! Who has Mind Erasers on the menu?.this place!!! Welcoming and delicious. Come check this neighborhood meca out for an afternoon of debauchery.

Fun spot! The nautical theme is perfectly executed, and the quirky photo booths and vending machines add to the party atmosphere. The cocktail list is something worth exploring, and the beers on tap a are mostly local and to notch. The bar tender was very friendly and made a great drink for us!

Personally still a big fan of the new Octopus Bar location. Venue is much bigger but still has a little bit of that divey feel. The old spot certainly would not have been COVID friendly. They have a solid happy hour menu, solid beer selection, great cocktails, and you can order food from the Salty Shack online and they’ll bring it out to your table.

Really loud and the girl working the bar didn't seem like she wanted to be there let alone serve anyone. She was still really nice so I'll give her credit but it seemed like there was 0 energy and was pretty glad we were bar hopping so we could get somewhere with better vibes.
