I've been to the angry beaver several times since it's in my hood but haven't really ate there. I had to do a review! I went for a birthday party and they ordered a bunch of food. Drinks are spot on and affordable not overly priced and decent pours. The food is great bar food. The fish and chips were so huge and so good! The 1 pound could feed four people I couldn't even believe it. I think it was $20. I love fish and chips and this is the place to go for the value for sure. The poutine and cheese curds were great too! The servers were super nice as well for a busy hockey night at the bar. Massive screens to watch all the games. Dog friendly too!

5 for the burger - has great smokey flavor2 for the fries - too soggy and didnt feel fresh. Also, cadian hot butter was amazing, warm and strong

Gotta love a theme bar, it's also just a great dive. Food was way better than I would expect for a joint like this- I had the 1/2 lb fish n chips and it was a huge and delicious portion. My hubby got a burger with jalapeño cheese curds on it and he enjoyed every bite.

Ahh the Beaver, my favorite bar in Greenwood. Great atmosphere, good service, good bar food. It specializes in hockey but it's a good place to watch any sporting event.Plus, live jazz every Sunday night with no cover?! Such a cool place that always leads to a good time.

Good neighborhood five bar-y experience. Really love the friendly bar tendersThe drinks are good sized. 4-5 spots for street parking right outside the restaurantDefinitely try their Canadian wafers and goodies (you need to ask the bartender)The bathrooms were clean and the place was well lit

Parking is on street.Waitress was attentive and friendly.Typical pub with 1 pool table & pub grub. The French Dip sandwich was very good. The Chicken sandwich not so good.Beer was cold and the Bloody Cesar tasty.

The reviews said it had great poutine. I was still surprised at how much I liked the poutine. My roommate had the Black & Blue burger and said it was a five star for him as well.

We went there to try the cheese curds. They were good but the portion was very very small for the price. Also they are battling fruit flies and losing the battle. On the good side the bartender was very nice and attentive

Super fun atmosphere if you are a hockey fan and the staff is friendly. Food is pretty good for pub food. Small on-tap selection but I do recommend the grapefruit cider if you're into that sort of drink. Parking is a little tough and seating is tight if you come to see a big game. Recommend getting there early for seating.

After 20 months of no "Date Nights", my wife and I were excited to drop off the kids with the grandparents and then to head out to dinner and a play. We were looking for something fun, new, and different to try. A Canadian hockey pub with a fun name sounded perfect, and it was! The 6 ounce steak was good, but the fish and chips were great. The Angry Beaver is a fun, casual place to relax, unwind, and talk before walking the couple of blocks to watch a play at Taproot Theatre in Greenwood. All in all a great "Date Night"... Excellent food followed by a great play. We'll be back again for the fish & chips! :-)
