Best brunch in Seattle. We were walking (hiking) distance in Queen Anne. They have coffee made in Everett and it came in a French Press. Their breakfast was delicious and came with hot sauce options. We sat at an outdoor table and watched the calm neighborhood nearby.
I can agree that prices are a little high however, the food was good and the coffee comes in a French press so you're not getting old, burnt coffee. An interesting place that also sells convenience store stuff which I think is pretty cool.My only complaint would be the Carolita. This is a personal preference and I'm sure that there are people that like it but, there should never ever be enchilada sauce with eggs. With the description, it seems like this is their version of Chilaquiles which I love but they're better off leaving the enchilada sauce out completely. In my opinion, enchilada sauce ruins the dish. I would highly recommend replacing the enchilada sauce with Pato tomato sauce instead.Important note: I did not order the Carolita. I ordered the Farm which was really good. I just have a thing against enchilada sauce on eggs
Good friendly service. Rustic looking place. Ham sandwich was good, but omg the price is the cost of three sandwiches at $15. As good as it was, no sandwich at a local place should be anywhere near what I paid. It's not like it was made with black paw serrano jamon imported from Spain or anything. I'm not sure how they came up with the prices, but it's too expensive for me for a basic sandwich. So I wouldnt return.
I don’t understand the hype, maybe some loyal locals. Everything was very expensive for what we received. Meal was under-seasoned and there wasn’t anything special about the ingredients. For nearly $20 a person, I’d hope they could at least partner with a local bakery for higher quality breads. This place did not have a positive upbeat energy that I expected. It was as quiet as a study hall and the server’s energy was tense which created a very anxious environment. They were short when taking our order and didn’t check in on us except to pay the bill. For better value and service, I’d recommend Bakeshop in Lower QA.
Atmosphere was great and the service was really friendly. I had the Carolina, but I wished I would have ordered something else. My friends sandwiches were super tasty.
Got the Reuben panini, an egg sandwich, and French press coffee. Everything tasted fantastic. The Reuben was meaty, cheesy, and had a nice kick from the dressing and horseradish sauce. The coffee was strong and tasted fresh. The location is nice and walkable, and if it’s a sunny day out you can’t beat the patio seating. Also, the service here was great. They made sure we were taken care of.
Everything bagel with egg avocado and other stuff very delicious, potatoes are good too
I love breakfast sandwiches and have tried many in Seattle. Without a doubt these are the best in Seattle.
Everything you want from a local diner. Friendly, and absolutely fantastic food.We also often order to go to take to the park.
The food is sooooo good, however, I think it is a bit overpriced for the kind of service you get. Me and my girlfriend went and we didn't get a single smile from the staff. The coffee cups were also dirty. I am okay paying for overpriced food as long as I get a great service, it's not just the taste. Anyone can cook good, not anyone can treat you right. I paid over $200 to have lunch at the space needle and I don't regret it because I got great service, good views, great food and a good customer experience. On the other hand I paid here $25 only for good food and I still don't think it was worth it because there's literally a below average customer experience.
