Wow! The oysters were amazing! My first time in Seattle having fresh PNW oysters! I’m in love! Service was great! So good I forgot to take pictures before we ate everything! It is a small spot so there seemed to be a bit of a wait sometimes.

Happy hour oysters are cheaper but may not have been as high quality but still good. Geoduck sashimi was good and fresh

First impression, the waiters were low key condescending. Like we didn't know where to sign in/didn't see it so we just stood there as they were chatting and then realized we were standing there and were legit low key condescending about it. Sorry? Didn't see the sign in thing, no need to be condescending.Secondly, the happy hour... Isn't really a happy hour honestly? Usually oyster happy hour even good ones can be as less a $1 up till maybe $2 hence happy hour. But these ones were more than $2 an oyster and it's only one kind of oyster they're giving that day, not all kinds of oysters. The oysters that day did not agree with me though.I actually went home with the taste of the bitter fishy oyster in my throat and threw up a little because it was a weird bitter/fishy taste. And I LOVE fishy anything. We got happy hour oysters, which I spoke above, we got the geoduck sashimi, it's alright, fishy at some points okay at some points but def must try if you haven't had just to get it out of the way, and the grilled oysters (so this wasn't great, we've had new Orleans grilled oysters and those were awesome this one had a bitter note to it.)Anyways 3 stars for all the above on food and because once we were seated the waiters were fine and not condescending as much as before, and the oysters itself were fresh eventhough the oysters didn't agree with me. I really wanted to get more oysters but just couldn't do it. Maybe the other non happy hour oysters were better.

Of all the seafood places we’ve been around the US, one of the worst dining experiences. Tonight’s host was especially rude - publicly questioning the legitimacy of my psychiatric service animal - threatening that we’d be fine if we couldn’t prove it - without even seeing our proof, which was readily available.During dinner, I reached under the table to treat the animal for performing well, and the same host came over to the table to tell us “can we not feed the animal at the table? A service animal would not do that.”We consider ourselves reasonable diners and generous tippers, and would have appreciated basic courtesy and respect, especially coming from the restaurant host. Highly disappointed. Would not come here again nor bring friends when we are in town for business.

Such a great experience. The manager was so super friendly and took such pride in educating us about all their fresh seafood. The Geoduck was so good!

Tasted one of the best and freshest oysters. They have so many varieties of oysters. They serve Dungeness Crabs as well. Decent selections of wines. A little cool hangout place to chill and have some wine.

Small venue / while seafood is priced accordingly to location, our greeter / server (shorter statured male) came off as rude and condescending. Food was pleasant / experience not as much.Shuckers dozen okay and the smoked oyster dip a tad salty. All and all, the rude welcome just seemed to put me off visiting again.

They had a good selection for Oysters. It was a neat environment with the oyster/shellfish sinks. Wasn’t a fan of the automatic 18.9% service fee. We tip but to be charged that regardless.. why not that work that into pricing if it is really to help the workers have health benefits.

I love the quality of the Taylor Shellfish seafood but the experience at this Melrose eatery was way below what I expected from a 400 hundred dollar meal. Uncomfortable seating and employees who acted like they were doing you a favor to serve you. Not one smile. I regret I chose this place for a birthday lunch with my son.

Came here since this to be the only place that sells geoduck. We wanted to try it and see what it was like, let's say, its really not for everyone. The geoduck has a sweet taste to it, and having like a scallop texture. For me, it has like a flavor of a jackfruit/durian, which is kind of weird. We had the following:Smoked Oyster Dip - the dip was delicious, but I felt like it was too salty since you are using chips to dip withNW Chowder - Geoduck, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Fennel Cream - can't tell theres geoduck in there, delicious thoughGeoduck Sashimi Soy/WasabiGeoduck Sashimi Lemon Turmeric oil, IkuraThe geoduck sashimi wasn't bad, the white meat of it was definitely better than the dark. And definitely enjoyed the lemon turmeric oil with ikura better than the soy/wasabi.Definitely gotta come so you can try geoduck, you never know if you like it until you try.
