It's not really appropriate to mention hair when you're reviewing a place that serves food but I got to say the man behind the counter had great hair! The service and the food is spectacular too!
I've been here twice, the food has been great both times. My second visit was today and they forgot to put the mac and cheese in the bag. I called hoping to let someone know but it was 1 minute past closing, I got voice mail. To my surprise my phone rang almost as I hung up and it was the shop saying they thought it might be me calling having realized the goodness didn't make the trip North with the rest of the food.This service is fantastic. Mistakes happen and they were all over it. The guy was super nice, a total pro. Thanks so much Take 5. The sandwiches were almost as good as the service, and that's saying something!
Owner was very nice. I came in at the end of the day which I felt bad to do but the food was incredible. The restaurant doubles as a mini Mart as well. Will return for sure.
The grilled sandwiches here are simply to die for. You have to stop by; it's worth making your way to the neighborhood NOT if you happen to be in the neighborhood mind you, no. Make your way to the neighborhood to get any of the delightful joyous noshes and sandwiches served up here!
My blood sugar dropped drastically and I had to stop. Take 5 was right there and I managed to get inside and the gal at the counter figures out exactly what I needed as I tried to explain what was happening. She grabbed me an orange juice and I grabbed a cookie. I sat for a few minutes while they kept an eye on me, and I had my daughter on the phone in case they needed more info and I ended up not being able to get back on the road. It worked out well, I ordered more food and want to say thank you for helping me, and knowing what I needed and getting it quickly, even taking the lid off for me which I probably would not have been able to do right then! So awesome! Thank you thank you thank you!
Great sandwiches. Grilled chicken Italian is my favorite. Mac and cheese is also excellent.
Take 5 is this amazing little neighborhood grocery store and deli that serves hot food. Their staff is always incredibly nice, they are dog friendly, and you can order ahead of time. Inside isn't too big, they have your bare necessities, but they have a little counter to eat at. There's always some specials going on, food takes about 5 to 10 minutes to make, and prices per portion size are pretty good. Their meatloaf and their Mac n cheese are definitely the two go-to's here.

Rebecca and crew are awesome. They make consistently amazing sandwiches. The blat is the go to but their grilled cheese and tomato soup is great as well.
Take 5 is our favourite takeout spot. We religiously order the chicken sriracha sandwich once a week. The whole menu is delicious and the staff are super friendly. Also a great neighbourhood market to pick up beer, wine, or other kitchen staples.
