ICHIBAN. Forget what you hear about other top end sushi restaurants in seattle. This is the best. Chef Taichi js a master and every piece of the omakase is special and amazing. The entire staff is wonderful so plan for an unforgettable evening.
Omakase solid, as always!!
Significantly lower quality fish than when I visited last pre-pandemic. We were really disappointed in the fish selection as well as how it was cut. Imagine paper thin fish over communist rations of rice but the meal costs almost $1000 for four people. Oh also the soy sauce was empty and the karage was soggy. Service meh.
I had the 5 course dinner and it was amazing. Wonderful selections and flavors. Service was awesome!
Service was impeccable and the sushi was glorious. Consistent high quality experience every time. We loved: Oishi and black dragon rolls and saba, black cod, sweet shrimp, scallop (torched with yuzu), uni nigiri. So good.
I had a chance to visit recently and I enjoyed the entire experience. The service was awesome. The Mustard Greens and Washington Albacore was awesome as were The Black Dragon rolls. They also have excellent dessert if you don't overdue it through the whole meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality. I think it would be a fun place to bring guests from out of town.
Everything was excellent. The black cod and sake were divine. We really enjoyed the energy, enthusiasm, recommendations and service from our waiter Edward.
Great omakase meal. Favorites were actually the chawanmushi and chestnut & butterscotch creme brulee.
The best sushi around! Fresh fish skillfully prepared. Our server was great! I had the three course menu. The mustard greens with tuna was yummy. I chose the sushi combo for my main meal. Since Iâm not a huge fan of ebi or octopus, Iâll probably just order a la carte next time. My only complaint is the desserts. I didnât think they were of the same quality as the rest of the meal. Maybe offer a chocolate plate for people who want just a little something sweet?
SKT is the best sushi and service in Seattle. Hands down.
