Really excellent fish, lightly breaded and delicious. Fries just average, but that but what we came for. Got the cod and halibut and both were pretty close to perfect--flavorful, moist, and flaky. Great location, right across the street from the beach.
This fish n chips shop serves great fish, they are located directly across from the beach. I ordered the combination meal with halibut, shrimp, oysters and fries. The fish and shellfish were cooked perfectly and had great flavor, the fries were a little overdone but had good flavor. Overall, I was satisfied with the food I did ordered, except for the side of coleslaw that wasn’t very good. There were out of a lot of things unavailable, like scallops and iced tea. I had to order what was available. Also, they could not take American Express cards. The food was good, as well as the location. If you are looking for fish and chips, this is a good spot.
Having eaten clam chowder three times during our two day stay in Seattle; this was hands down- THE best. Creamy, big chunks of clam, and even handed amounts of celery and potatoes; delicious! The cod was light and flavorful as well.

Today my husband and I had lunch here and it was really good! We had the cod combination plate and the scallops and fries… the food was fresh and tasty we also had a small chowder which was very good as well the two guys behind the counter were a little gruff but over all it was a pleasant experience.
I've visited this place for many years, and there still isn't a fish and chip place that can beat this establishment. Every winter they shut down, and every Spring I'm there when they open. It's family owned and I love the customer service. I just cannot express how fresh and yummy the food is. Be prepared for a 10-20 min. wait on food. I only gave 4 stars because I wish the prices were a bit better.
Good fish and chips! Crispy batter, fresh fish, and crispy fries. Perfection. We had a combination, two orders of cod fish and chips and some slaw. Price was good for what we got. Wasn't greasy, was a light meal on a nice, warm day. Will definitely be back
The halibut was delicious. Not sure how they bread their fish here, but it reminds me grandma. Fish is tender and flavorful. Fries are Ok. Calamari was ok too, no dipping sauce and a little chewy for my taste on my visit.The owners were nice, the place and customers were nice, and the view is awesome.Good prices for what you get.
I’ve been going here since I was a child. They have the freshest fish and the owners/chefs put love into their cooking. It’s phenomenal! ??I personally recommend the salmon! ?
My wife and I have had fish & chips, and clam chowder from Sydney, to Savannah, to New Orleans, to Maine and Seattle area. You won't find better than Sunfish. They have perfected their craft. Worth the drive and very well priced.
