They got my delivery order wrong. I called upset and in a bind due to covid symptoms and they made it up to me big time with extra food and sauces that I didn't order. Very classy move and you've definitely earned a return customer.Their fried rice is fantastic and has a generous serving. The sushi is ok and about the quality you'd expect. I do not prefer their edamame or miso soup compared to other similar restaurants. I do not enjoy the spices served with the edamame.

The sushi was okay. The avocado was fresh, but the amount of salmon was a little lacking. It’s open late at night though!Karaage was whatever, probably cause takeout. My favorite item was the side of yakisoba noodles. For $6 it really satisfied my carb craving ?I’d probably only get food from here again if it’s late at night.

I was really excited to try something new, and I love Japanese food!! I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba and the fried California Roll. The Yakisoba, noodles were greasy and the chicken was way over cooked, and lacked any flavor. And unfortunately visually was very unappetizing. The fried California Roll was just a bad idea to start with, so I won't even critique that.Perhaps I had my expectations set too high.highand

I really like this place and the food is great, but they keep forgetting my order, not once but like 3 times I get the meal and it add on with side and they only give me one side when I order 2 meals meaning 2 sides. Then when I told the lady she kinda didn’t believe me and so the guy next to her kindly just let me have it but then turns out when I open the bag to put the extra one in I seen that their was only 1 in there; was super disappointed ? Besides that really good place.

Nice place. they have a very easy way to order online and they made it just as i asked. 4 instead of 5 as my wife was not a big fan and it was nothing supper special just the normal rolls.

Pretty good. Specialty rolls were delicious. As a lover of spicy tuna hand roll, I wasn’t crazy about this one.. it has breadcrumbs in the tuna maybe? Anyhow, will be back!

This place is nice, affordable and open till late. I liked the pork gyoza and the vegetarian roll. The sea weed felt different and not too good. Overall it is a nice place and I would try again for something different. My wife took the salmon roll and she really liked it. I also took the Ichiban beer (because it reminded me of the commercial that Joey did) and it is a nice beer.

I got the poke don meal It's smaller than you'd get at another poke place, but with the appetizer and drink, I think the price isn't bad. I had it delivered to Wallingford, and it didn't really keep its temperature well, so I suggest eating there or getting it if you live closer. Other than that, I'd say it was okay. Probably not something I'd get again, but it wasn't a waste of my money.

Sumo express is my Go-to choice when I'm craving sushi. Convenient location, good price and great variety of options. Staff is always friendly too!
