Being a bit shy about sitting in restaurants, that Squirrel Chops has several outdoor venues where one can sit and enjoy a beer with an excellent sandwich made it a perfect spot for an alfresco lunch, since we were dressed for the weather. Tasty food, friendly service, good prices. Not quite in the 'cheap eats' category, but good value for money. I wear my Black Lives Matter pin everywhere, and I was pleased to see a sign on the door saying if you don't agree BLM, don't come in. We didn't have to go in because there's a window, but the sentiment is something we all should be expressing and living by.
Good cortado and toastie
This place is wonderful and owned by lovely people. Delicious coffee and quick service. Highly recommend
Coffee and cuts? Not an obvious pairing. But the combo is pure magic at Squirrel Chops! This welcoming neighborhood spot is perfect for grabbing coffee. They serve Thin Man Roaster coffee, Seattle’s most elusive roaster. Seriously delicious coffee so buy a bag of beans ‘cause you won’t find it around town at other cafes or shops. My breakfast egg toastie with gluten-free bread was damn tasty! If you need a haircut, book with Trevor. 3 down and always on point!
One of my favorite coffees in the area. Solid coffee, and good milk texture.
What's not to love! Fabulous people, excellent coffee, great oatmilk chai, yummy snacks (including Scooby-snacks for your pooch). And attention queers: Friday HH on the patio is the perfect end to your week.
Very casual and dependable coffee shop in the area.
Squirrel Chops is a nice neighborhood coffee shop with friendly service and an essential menu that includes coffee, pastries and toasts (for breakfast and lunch). Coffee is good, pastries are from Macrina, toasts are delicious and nicely warmed up in the oven. It's a pretty popular local spot so sometimes the wait can be a little long. There is a sunny patio in front of the shop as well as a corner patio with more shade.
Lunch was awesome I got to bring my dog, they have a turkey and Swiss sandwich a salami and provolone sandwhich a Reubens egg and cheddar ham egg and cheddar this place rocks my dog loves it sooooo much. Lots of outdoor seating and booze
Really great coffee. The turkey cheese sandwich I got was basically a grilled cheese, and way too much cheese, with a super thin slice of turkey which I couldnt taste at all. But was only 8 bucks so couldnt complain too much. Kinda wish they'd improve that tho. Overall enjoyed
