Hot and sour soup and honey walnut shrimp are a must try items. For most of the other dishes, you feel thezesty flavor post completing brunch/lunch.Completing the meal with the walnut shrimp or a desert is suggested to dilute the zesty flavor in the mouth.

Had a family gathering here. We ordered a lot of food. It all arrived within 10 minutes. Everything was very good. The service was incredible. I would absolutely recommend trying this place. The owner, David came over and checked on us and gave us a short history of where the different flavors originated from in the different parts of China. If your looking for great food in a welcoming environment, I would absolutely recommend giving SpiceUp a try.

This is a pleasant place to enjoy dinner. I found the staff was friendly, helpful in my finding the right menu choice for me. This was such a good experience, with quick preparation and superb flavor... I will be back!

Great food, great service, reasonable prices. Even better, the staff was friendly, professional, and the service was fast. They have differing types of Asian food, primarily Mandarin and their specialaty Szechuan We had a group show up at 630PM on a Friday night and trust me, I'll be back A very popular place, especially with people who live or work closeby, they do a lot of walk in, carry out business, and the small but well stocked bar was a bonus too We had a group of nine people and everyone left full and we rate this a five star place. Try it, you'll like it

Excellent service and incredibly authentic / mouth-watering Sichuan cuisine. This is without a doubt the best Sichuan restaurant I've found in Seattle and I eat here on a weekly basis if not more often. The Mapo tofu and twice-cooked pork are as good as any I've had in China, New York, Chicago, Boston, or anywhere. The sauteed green beans are mouth-watering.

I like this place. The food is yummy and can be made to your liking. The owner is very friendly and engages with customers. I like the selection of dishes. I did not wait long to get the food. There is a seperare side bar in the restaurant. I love Chinese food and this location to great to enjoy the cuisine.

Absolutely phenomenal! Hands down the best authentic Szechuan restaurant in Seattle. We were a large party and ordered a wide variety from the menu for the full culinary experience. Everything was out of this world - we could not believe how mind blowing delicious each and every dish was! It was so good that there were no leftovers -so we ordered take out to bring home with us! The staff was truly kind and attentive, and we even saw David, the movie star handsome owner. He was the consummate host and made our dining experience all the more special. While we were there, we met a famous chef (whose restaurant in Ballard is booked 6 months out) ordering his favorite cucumber dish… so of course, we had to try that too! … And all I can say is that it is a MUST and that I will be craving it until I come back… and that can’t be soon enough!

I drop in here with friends or family, every-time I'm visiting Seattle. The food is always on point. Authentic, flavorful and something for all palate's (I prefer spicey, Wife is GF and daughter has a cat tongue and the friends that I've taken there always find something delicious for themselves. It seems that David (the Manager who has always been there when we come in). is invested and ensures that the dishes are catered to our specific tastes and dietary needs. The place is a low key environment that delivers top notch Authentic Chinese Food. I highly recommend.

Just wonderful. Authentic Szechuan cuisine is hard to find, but SpiceUp will deliver all the spices, textures and technique straight to your table. Pro Tip: Watch your intake, as we found the food so good, instead of taking left overs home, we had to eat EVERYTHING.

A pleasant discovery. Great service and food. We had lunch, which included a great soup (we had hot and spicy and egg flower). Ordered Ma Po Tofu and Pork and Peppers. Everything outstanding. Owner was attentive. Casual environment.
