I love Slim’s! Definitely one of the best places to see a local band, and the bartenders are awesome! Hungry for chili? Burgers? Wings? Slim’s has you covered!
Same ol' Slims :) Great assortment of bar fare, try the Verde chili for sure! Awesome wings, cold beer and authentic old-school atmosphere. One of Old Seattle's last gems. Staff is awesome and friendly as always, long live Metal.
Ohh Slim's last chance, is better then being called fat chance.. Anyway i went there 1st time NYE night and watched some crazy Elvis impersonator freak throw down a great show.. Slim's has a full bar, a spacious layout, pool tables , plus a awesome smoking section!! If thats your thing cool, or like me not but I might take up smoking just to have a reason to hangout in the smokers area. Seriously thou the outdoor area is Rad!! I bet it's a steller hangout in the summertime evenings.. Not to forget the bartenders were super cool and friendly. Sooooo,besides i had to stand the whole time i was there. Let me tell you the floors are solid as well .. IDK what else to say .. I had a great time and wil be back. So go check it out for yourself.. I am totally 5 stars confident that you'll like this place, and you'll prolly find me in the awesome smokers area.. Take a look, I'll be the one not smoking.. lol..Cheers!!
Ordered 28oz of the brisket chilli last Friday 12/3. It tasted pretty good, but sadly my wife and I got really bad food poisoning. I’m assuming this is a one off situation and just bad luck, I couldn’t tell you as it was our first time trying the restaurant. I felt it was important to mention what and when we ordered given how sick we got.
I visit this place often for chili, service, music, and great specials on high end drinks. It's a top spot and attracts all kinds of people. Get in here and strike up a convo with a stranger. Never been let down yet!
Came with some friends to watch another friends band. All the bands were great, the vibe was chill, and the place itself was clean and had a nice interior. Got a few cocktails and they were weak as hell. Didn't feel a thing and they tasted watered down, which was disappointing considering how much they cost. Would not personally go back unless my friend is playing again.
The Brisket & Bean Chili took us to flavor town ? Also the honey butter cornbread was delicious. The fries were perfectly crunchy and salty with the house sauce.
Food is good and people were really nice, unfortunately the sound was just trash and did the bands no justice. It sounded like the engineer did not know what he was doing at all.
Momma, I'm home!Chili's on the stove and all your favorite Georgetown brews on tap! Plus punk rawk! First time here for the Cramps cover show. Staff, bands, crowd, food a fantastic experience. Feels like the Star Bar in ATL or the Hideout in Chicago, tight community. My new happy place.
