The staff was great but the open mic leaves a lot of room for improvement. Everyone dips as soon as their done. Don’t ask to have a little extra treble on your vocals or else they will crank it way high for your vocals and guitar so it sounds like your playing in a tin can. Also, it could easily start an hour earlier for a weekday night. You’ll need to be one of the first 6 people on list if you want to play for anybody
This is become a neighborhood staple! The staff and the menu is superb. The more we go, the more it feels like a real community :) we love going for the live music and for a chill weeknight or weekend dinner. Can’t rave enough about the food!! So good.
We liked it, and not just because our son was playing a gig there recently. Good food, beer, drinks, wine, and good service too.

Open mic night on Wednesday was so amazing! Sign-up starts at 7:30 and the performances start at 8:30. There were poets, band, solo performers, freestyle rappers, and even a kid playing his recorder! No matter how skilled you are as a performer, if you have any interest in getting on stage, this is the place to go!
This open mic is really cool. The option to buy a recording of your set is really special and it's making for some fun edits in Audition at home, which is an awesome way to reflect on material from the live event.
This place is a local treasure and I'm so glad it's survived the last couple of years. Between the attention to detail paid the food, the great ambiance and the presence of real human beings playing live music, you can't go wrong!
Staff is amazing. Great place to go see live music from local bands. Also plenty of other event nights there. Didn't try the food personally but a couple of friends said it was great. Worth checking this place out!

Really welcoming and diverse open mic at the Skylark. Terrific coffee and food we enjoyed as well. A very friendly group of people there.
