1st time in this place it is fabulous with black light art work, nostalgic arcade stuff, great hand food for drinking, and bartenders that work their assess off. I moved here to Seattle 3 weeks ago from the east coast and I have found my new watering hole ?
A pure neighborhood delight. Pinball games, hot dogs on the menu, lovely folks about. Recommend.
I'm pretty nice motif with the circus effect and the clown paintings. With a kind of '80s rock music kind of thing going on alternative and punk music. A good place to play pinball and just relax.
Fun atmosphere, and cheap beer what more.do you need? The bathroom situation is a little odd though, I can't tell if they are gender neutral or not.
Shorty's is a super fun bar, that boasts pinball, hot dogs, and an amazing collection of clown themed art. Perfect for a fun night out.

If you're looking for a classic Seattle dive bar, then that's what you'll get at Shorty's. It has a grimey grungey feel to it. It has clown themed decor and old school arcade type games. People watching is my preferred activity here ;)
