Definitely get the A5 Wagyu Skewers, Wagyu Sukiyaki, Buta no Kubiniku (Pork Neck), and the Mentaiko Creamy Udon Noodles. At first coming here might seem odd, if you’ve never been to a place like this. The servers don’t actually take your order, theyre more there to answer any questions and run the food. You have to scan the QR code and order online and the food is brought out to you.
The food was absolutely amazing! There are only a few meals in life that make you bliss out and lose track of the world around you, and this was one such meal! The Japanese Wagu was absolutely out of this world, it was so tender that it hardly required any chewing at all and the flavor has ruined me for any other beef offerings on their menu (both joking and not.) My girls, both of which "hate okra," said "wow! That is good!"I enjoyed the meal so much that I only took a single photo when the first round hit the table... I totally spaced the rest... Yes, it's that good.
So many tasty small dishes. The atmosphere is laid back, many people attentive to your table and speedy service. You order on your phone. We got a lot of top quality products that we were satisfied with! Parking is about $10 or less but way behind the building. You can see them cook your food but it's very modern design for tables. Very clean inside. Will be dreaming about some of the food for weeks! The milk tea and hot black tea were very good!
Good service, good food, good atmosphere!I am very satisfied with the service. I never have to ask to get my water refill or for the dirty plates to be taken away. The food is always on our table while it is still hot, fresh off the stove/grill.Food-wise I love getting the beef tongue and the creamy udon. Recently they added a few items to the menu and it has been a pleasant surprise. The curry is delicious with the salad on the side to balance the meal and I was able to get another new dish which comes with a generous piece of eel. The rice is always not too dry or too wet. This restaurant is very eye-pleasing and the music taste is great. Most places play overplayed radio pop music but Shinya plays chill EDM.I would love to come again and bring my friends!
One or my favorite places to eat. The food is fenomenal. You can order a lot of different dishes. The online order experience is great and they bring the food to your table.? the onigiris are great, the yakitory and the Kushiyaki are increíble. I tried several of them and they are all supreme.? try the seasonal sakes? Service is great, specially the online ordering system? I recomend making a reservation to get a table? There are bathrooms on site?️ There is no parking but there is street parking near by and a parking lot next to the restaurant
Shinya was a surprise. So many options. I really liked the online order and payment system using the Qr Code. It made it easy to get food fast this is a great date night spot - with plenty of dishes to share, which makes the night fun and interactive. The hot sake was the perfect cap to the evening. Highly recommend the wagyu rice dish, and the creamy noodles.
Great first timer experience. Seated fast. Hit the QR to order. Food out fast and perfect. Could not have been more flavorful or authentic. Frankly, the ambiance was so sweetly authentic, I wanted to order a bottle of fine Japanese whiskey and stay longer. Will be back soon!
Overall pretty good place! I enjoyed each dish but none of them wowed me. Not sure if it was just that night, but it seemed a little salty..I enjoyed the creamy udon and the wagu the most! The service was good and it had a nice vibe. I’ll definitely come back to try it again!
I don’t think it is an authentic Japanese Yakitori restaurant. I really love japanese food and have learnt how to cook traditional japanese food for years.Food here was just ok and not as good as expected. They might looking good in picture but not that good when you taste it. Food is too salty and oily Maybe because it located in a pricy place, it also charge more than other authentic japanese restaurant nearby. There is no way you can tip 15% from their contactless order and pay process. You even need to order for chili and salt.
I was greeted in a brusque almost hostile manner. Most of the restaurant was shut down, this was seven PM. I was pushed to order off the app and any questions about the food were responded to in a condescending manner. My meal was bland, portions were small. I did not feel the food was high quality at all.I thought the selection on the menu was good but the restaurant was a disappointment.
