Came in for a quick beer while waiting for a table at a different restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Nice patio on the south side of the building that was mostly shaded in the evening (which was great during a heat wave).
We finally had a chance to visit this pub (twice in the same weekend, actually), and we loved it!5 stars for the service, everyone is great! The ambiance is good too, very cozy. The food was delicious: I had the O'Possible burger and it was one of the best preparations of an Impossible Burger I've ever had. While the staff and kitchen were very accommodating of our request to prepare the Mac and Cheese with no meat, it would be nice to have another option for vegetarian/vegan food.We also found out Tuesday is trivia night, and we hope to come back and participate soon.
Great happy hour! HH is daily from 3-6pm and will save you a few bucks. We got the pub burger and shepherds pie, both were great! The only con was the cleanliness, we sat next to the window inside and there were quite a few dead bugs in the window. We actually killed a bug that was crawling on the ketchup bottle as well. Next time we will sit elsewhere!
It's hard to accurately describe the level of community and service O'Donnell Fremont represents. Of the literal hundreds of restaurants and bars I've been to, nowhere has ever made me feel more at home. In specific the barman Johnny lights up the whole place like a beacon. He made a point of introducing himself by name and committed mine to memory on the spot, was friendly and attentive, and also observant of everyone on the level that a good friend would be, making conversation, tending refills or food service, etc etc. Every person I saw pass through the door was addressed by name as well and that really says something about the value put into each person the man saw. Pints of Guinness and other beers poured with the highest degree of care and time, which to a beer enthusiast like myself it makes all the difference in flavor. The place just seems like a slice of home, whether it be the family eating dinner with their toddler as casually as if they had made dinner themselves or the patrons coming for a pint and some of the most delicious shepherds pie (served proper with lamb as opposed to cottage pie with beef) that you'll find anywhere. Everyone had the vibe of belonging and were addressed as such. The only complaint I can possibly muster is that I live 45 minutes away and can't pop in multiple times a week. I suppose that will save my wallet in the long run though.
This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Seattle. Great beer and great food. The corned beef was perfect, and the poutine is the best I've found so far in Seattle. All of this in a cozy, unassuming setting with great service. 10/10 will be going back.
Best Irish-pub we've found since moving from Florida last August. Great beer selection, A+ Guinness draft, and we've tried half the food on the menu and it's all been great. Been to both Everett and Fremont location ?
I was surprised by how good this place is. It’s low fuss but definitely not low effort. We stopped in while there was live Irish music and (square?) dancing. The Irish manager that stopped by our table was a hoot. Food was delicious.
Love this authentic pub. Had fish and chips, great as usual. Perfect cuppa. Atmosphere and Irish music added to the feel of being in a pub in County Cork.
Excellent Irish breakfast, a perfect Guinness pour, and very friendly service! An absolute gem in Fremont. I’ll be back!
Best place to be!! Not only is their food great but the atmosphere they include is beyond realization. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is the spot to check out!
