their food is delicious and good quality. my favorites are general tso's chicken (which this household lovingly refers to as "sugar chicken"), pea vines, their hot and sour soup, and their beef soups. one of my college buddies worked at his uncle's chinese restaurant in queens, ny as a teenager, and he told me that you can tell how good a chinese restaurant is by their hot and sour soup. i don't know if this is true, but this place is great. ;)
I'm partial to the hot & sour soup and hand-shaven barleygreen noodles. Lots of delicious choices here!
I've been eating here since I was a baby! And my family has since before I was born! Do yourself a favor and try this amazing food. The price is high but the quality is worth it. We usually go for special occasions. Get potsticker sauce and put it on everything.... Your welcome ?
Food looked great, tasted okay. Orange chicken and General Tso chicken tasted the same and neither one’s breading was crispy. Over all decent experience but not worth the money spent.
Had the barley green noodles and instantly fell in love with this place. They also serve fried brown rice dishes. pricey but, worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent. We ordered the honey prawns, the chicken and corn soup and some kind of barley noodle with egg and mushrooms. It was alot of food but worth it. The soup was a very large bowl, enough for four people. I wish I had taken pictures but I definitely will go again. The service was excellent. I asked for chili spice and they brought it along with white pepper. Both were excellent with the soup.
people were very nice and fast service. food is delicious
Highly recommend the House Special Fried Rice. Pan Fried Bean Curd in Chef's Special Sauce also delicious:)
Very fresh vegetables. The braised fish in a light brown sauce is SO delicious and fresh. The broccoli in garlic sauce is very fresh. We love the chicken with garlic and ginger. Also the Jae zhang is really good, bean noodles. I was impressed that it was so good. We go here frequently. It's the best and most consistent good Chinese food in the International District. Also their tea is pretty good. Prices have gone up a lot since Covid started but so have all the prices around town. The bathroom isn't horribly dirty like many Chinese restaurant but they are cold. Service is good and restaurant is clean. Oh one other thing, they are trying to stay Covid safe by keeping a voluntary list of customers.
Always hit Chinatown while visiting a city as my wife is Asian and we try to find authentic Asian food. Everybody has their idea of what Asian food should be like but we were both very pleased with out noodle meals for 1/3 the price of some of the waterfront restaurants. Granted this seems to be a family operation and the service is spotty but the food is delicious and we would definitely return for a follow up meal in the future.
