The food tastes different from your usual Thai restaurants and tastes good. Small portions, though. I liked the ambiance but food takes long to arrive.
This place was surprisingly very very good! This food felt very high end. Tasted like a super luxe restaurant! The price is great and the vibe is chill. Check it out!!
I ate at Secret Savory in May of 2022 for a late lunch. It was probably one of my favorite meals in a long time! The space is adorable, with ample seating space, centrally located in Ballard. The dishes were delicious! We ordered the Tofu and Pad See Ew; both were amazing, with great flavors and textures. The portion sizes were also perfect (it filled you up without being too filling)!! The service was also fast and kind. I would highly recommend Secret Savory if you are looking for an adorable and delicious spot to eat in Ballard.
There are 3 Thai places within 2min walk of each other on this street and we tried all 3 today - this one is by far superior! Not only was it incredible value for money with a lively atmosphere, they took care even in the presentation of their takeaways. I couldn’t believe it when I saw that they had curry soft shell crab! Something I’d been craving for years but don’t come across often in Thai restos. Food came quickly, portion was enormous, and the staff were super polite. Unlike at Pestle Rock.
After growing up eating Thai in the Bay and Los Angeles, my standards are high, I absolutely love Thai food but had given up after so many bad experiences in Seattle. Yesterday I had the most intense craving for Thai and those beautiful distinct flavors and tried Secret Savory-----IT WAS AMAZING. If you love authentic Thai this is the place. I ordered take out so I don't know what the dining experience is like but people from Thailand tend to be the kindest warmest people I have ever met so dining in is probably good too. Highly recommend if you love flavorful Thai.
Really cute dining space with caring service. The food was great, well presented and good flavors. They also have cocktails to go with your meal- I tried the boozy Thai tea - not my favorite cocktail but I can definitely appreciate the creativity.
I loved the food! Will definitely visit again. The ambience is nice. Menu was fantastic. I loved how they explained the different regions in Thailand. Would recommend this place to everyone.
Really excellent flavor combinations, sauciness, portions were just right. Spice level was just right, added a bit of bite without overwhelming the other flavors. Pad See Ew and Crispy Basil Chicken were delicious. Very friendly staff. Great adult beverage selection. Spacious, not many people there. Totally weird music selection! Pleasantly surprised by the low price, all lunch dishes are $12.
One of the better Thai restaurants I've been to in Seattle.
Came here for dinner and was impressed by the diversity of their menu and how above and beyond the classic Thai staples they go. I appreciated the chance to try some flavors and combinations I have not tried before.Overall pretty yummy and a good way to branch out and explore more of what Thai cuisine has to offer beyond red curry and pad Thai.
