Honestly too expensive for the service you get. Everything is old, bathrooms are single and seem to be very much in the middle of the dining room. They don't have AC so it's a terrible choice to go when it is above 80. Long service and not attentive staff that would forget about us.
Lunch with one of my favorite people! I had one of the most delicious copper river salmon I have ever had! Absolutely delightful. It was the chefs special for the day. The art of a true chef, not only was the salmon so very tasty but it was cooked beautifully, fish is so hard to to properly cook but their chef cooked it just beyond rare (I loved every bite!
I usually check the reviews when checking restaurants. This one was a disappointment. The smoked salmon chowder...should have been called stew, no liquid at all and extremely salty! I think it was the bottom of the pot...if so, we should have been told so we could have ordered something else. Next, the fish tacos. They were loaded with mixed fish, cabbage and then drizzled with a spicy mayo. The fish was all overcooked, so very dense, the mayo too spicy, it did add flavor however. Just overall completely the most disappointing meal we have had while in Seattle. Just down the street is an amazing Pizza Restaurant...CREDO...that place was amazing! Wish we had gone there again!
Awesome neighborhood favorite! Love their happy hour specials and enjoyed the poke (tuna) plus 1/2 dz oyster shooters. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus they are pup friendly! Cannot wait to return during the week. We also inquired about whole fresh oysters to shuck at home, so we’re looking forward to buying from them when the time arrives to dine at home.
I must say, my expectations were pretty high when walking in, as this was my first "fish eatery" choice, after my arrival here from Ft Worth, Texas. Everything appeared as if that expectation would be met... as we looked over the menu, the interior decor, the fresh fish displayed on ice, and we then quickly chose our fish...and our seats. Good start...It wasn't crowded, but a constant rotation of customers in and out. The inside decor was what you would expect, simple and effective for your dining needs, kind of dark, cool and cluttered... perfect. We ended up with the Halibut cake and salad, the fish tacos, along with a Halibut sandwich on a simple bun, while ultimately choosing to sit outside. Dang it...the flavors were just not there...MIA even, and the halibut on both the cake and sandwich...well, seemed a tad dry. Too bad, because I sooo wanted to come back here again and again, as it was such a short walk from my apartment. Maybe you'll have better luck than us when you come in...as you too should at least give it a try.
Great place that reminds me of a fish market. The fish is very good and fresh. The salmon chowder is amazing! Beer and drink selection is limited but still good. If you are looking for a quick and easy fish place that won’t break the bank, look no further.
Lovely place with excellent service. I was greeted by the friendliest person the second I walked. I ordered the fish tacos and the servings were HUGE for the price, fresh and delicious
The best fish and chips and clam chowder I have ever eaten. I make it a point to go to Seattle Fish Company every time I visit Seattle. Food is always served hot. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Quick prompt service.
These were the biggest fish tacos that I had ever eaten. Lots of fish and toppings. There was so much fish, I wish they would have served them carnitas style. (With double corn tortillas instead of one flour tortilla) Also, having salsa instead of 3 hot sauces would have been a good option. Definitely needed a fork and lots of napkins to finish the meal. Go there hungry and leave happy ?
This place is the much needed warm welcome after a long day. You can order anything off the menu with no fear; you will not have a bad meal here.I have not lived in West Seattle for 4 years now, and I still make the trip for fish and chips. This is a one of a kind in West Seattle and outside of it.
