Best breakfast we had in Seattle we tried the other famous guys and this was much better. The biscuits are freaking HUGE and the honey sauce STAWP! The chicken is cooked to perfection!! Highly recommend!

Our orders took a long time and there was definitely some confusion on the day we ordered! I took a risk and tried the Amy Lee’s cousin (with the onion mustard) and the flavors were good but just so overpowering. I would totally come back and try a different flavor combo next time!

The biscuits are pretty big (meal sized, not snack sized) and buttery. +1 starAs far as biscuit sandwiches, I prefer other options in Ballard and U District for both flavor and texture.I removed a few stars due to preferential treatment of white customers. I was standing in line this morning and there were two times where a white male customer skipped the line and was served before me. Finally, I (minority female) was the only one that was asked for proof of payment before I was given my food whereas the other customers were not asked for the same.

We had the biscuits and gravy, ché, and justa with jam and butter. I think theyre better than Pine State Biscuit in Oregon. I want to try the Fried Chicken sandwich next time I'm in Seattle.

First time here, very good! They have large portions and delicious bloody Marys! A perfect way to start a weekend brunch! The staff is very friendly. Despite an overall small location, they have quite a bit of seating, and an outdoor patio in the summer. I highly recommend getting the "VARNER" I believe it's going to be a favorite. Parking can be limited so early arrivals benefit.

Yummy food with large portions and friendly service. My husband had the California Omelet and I had the Blueberry Pancakes with a side of the chicken sausage. The omelet was huge and had a very generous portion of chicken sausage inside. My blueberry pancakes were as large as the dinner plate they come on and were delicious. Loved the sausage as well and the fact that they had a non-pork option. Would definitely come here again.

Biscuits had great texture.. were soft and flaky inside and on a crisper side outside. The fillings and sauces were flavorful. Biscuits could have been more flavorful. Had Gus which had filling of a perfectly breaded and juicy fried chicken, and had Amy Lees cousin which had berry jam and cheese filling. Overall satisfying weekend brunch. There's not a lot of seating however we did not have a prob as the place was not full when we went as it was snowing. Service was fast and staff is kind.

Got the Big Al, delicious, huge biscuit with scrumptious sausage gravy and over easy egg. No wait time for indoor seating early Sunday morning after opening. Staff was way cool, and a blessing to enjoy a nice breakfast there before a Christmas worship service. Don't forget the Sweetness!

These are some heavenly biscuits! The first thing I noticed about my Varner biscuit is how big and stuffed it is–definitely beyond my expectation. It's more of a lunch size than breakfast, love it! Then I'm happily surprised again by the taste, it's juicy, flavorful, and appetizing. There is a whole chunk, not just a slice, of beecher's cheese inside, making the sandwich really satisfying. I wholeheartedly enjoyed it, excellent value for the quality and price.Friendly and fast service. There are a few tables outside under a roof.

Super friendly service. The biscuits were huge and so delicious!
