It’s been recommended by someone and been back few times already. Delicious, friendly, efficient. Especially love the somewhat spicy lava ahi with jalapeños. I could eat here everyday! Cute, clean, tidy interior seating area too.
Chicken was overcooked and tough and greasy. My wife couldn't eat it. It was a very strange sandwich with the chicken in cubes and chucks of raw vegetables in a very large bun.
During our vacation to Seattle, we stopped by this place per recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious and fresh. Starting with sushi to poke bowls, they were all flavorful. The restaurant has a food truck vibe to it which was great. We tried one of the desserts (Mango Haupia) and wasn't too thrilled about it. A good local spot for anybody visiting Seattle to try something new.
Nice clean establishment. I like that they have outdoor seating. The service was fast and friendly. But, the Poke did not taste as fresh as it should be.
This Hawaiian restaurant started as a food truck, which you can tell from the delicious, addictive, and creative food on the menu. The interior is gorgeous and clean with lots of natural light.I actually think Sam Choy’s gives you enough food that two people could split one menu item, making it a fantastic value in Seattle.
Sam Choy has been a staple in Seattle for a long time now, starting with his iconic teal colored food truck.Poke is very good. I got the ahi and salmon mix bowl.Has a small parking lot as well as street parking.Self-order and pay kiosks with friendly staff that prepare your food. Will be back for sure!
Their “Da Garlic Chicken Musubi” is so tasty, with the perfect amount of sauce. I was worried that the chicken breading would be soggy, because of the delivery, but it wasn’t. We even put the left overs in the refrigerator and they were even better, with the sauce soaked into the chicken/rice more. 10/10
One of the best poke in town. Large portion. Good size.
If you love Hawaiian Poke dishes, then you've got to try Poke to da Max. Just enough choices that you can select what you want and get to eating quickly. I am a self proclaimed Fowl-Pescatarian, which just means I don't chow the cow or fork the pork, but birds and fish and all the veggies are my thing. Even with these limitations I always leave satisfied.
Do not eat at this restaurant! The chicken katsu was burnt. The kimchee was bland. The spam musubi was sweet instead of salty. The haupia was like rubber. The customer service was a joke. This food was so bad that I went home and brushed my teeth right away to get the taste out of my mouth. Do not waste your money at this restaurant.
