The service was great, I really liked my spicy pasta, and the house wine by the glass was both tasty and a really generous pour.
BEWARE SINGLE DINERS! The owners' Daughter will screen you out of a Table should you say you are only 1. She likes large groups and will discriminate against anyone except couples or groups because they get more money and aren't worth it to them. Don't bother go to Crown Hill for some nicer Italian Restaurant. I would give Salvatores a Zero if it werent for Salvatore who is good and decent
Excellent atmosphere and food in true Italian style - high quality ingredients that compliment each other served without embellishment. Curated, moderate size food and drink menus. Intriguing specials - I had the wild boar pappardelle and it was delicious. Our waitress seemed a little frazzled but service was at an appropriate pace, and the price matched the quality.
The restaurant is great. Unfortunately it seems that they are understaffed at the moment. So i had to wait a significant amount of time to get my food. This restaurant is better if you decide to dine in. However if you would like to have takeout or delivery, keep in mind that it might take longer than the suggested time. Over all good food and service but definitely not suited for takeout at the moment.
This is the best Italian restaurant in the entire city of Seattle because of its extremely authentic and familiar tastes and experience. It’s not overpriced, far fetched, or poor quality. Every dish tastes like you’re eating with the family that owns the restaurant. The wait staff is extremely diligent and friendly. Salvatore himself is a kind soul that loves to wave to his customers from the kitchen. The last time I was there I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, he reminds me of my uncles and grandfather. First time giving 1 star reviews. Went 2 times, first time the waitress was rude and I let it go thinking might be the restaurant being too busy and she was having a bad day.Today decided to give it another try, a different waitress served us. While we were eating, she dropped OTHER TABLES USED FORK on me, STAINED MY CLOTHE AND PANTS WITH OIL, and her reaction was casually saying "sorry about that" and told us "you can leave the fork on the floor" then just left. As if what bothered us was the fork on the floor??? No checking on my clothe at all, didn't come back to do a proper apology either.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE if you don't want to be treated like this.

The black ink squid is amazing, everyone must try it and so far everything I've tried has been great. The staff is extremely knowledgeable.
The food was so wonderful it was worth the 4 block walk in the cold and snow from the transit station. Next time we are in Seattle we will be back.
